We stayed in a 3 bed chalet which was shady & terribly overgrown which meant insects were literally invading every area of your space inside & out. There was an event planned for the following week so major works were ongoing in preparation. Diggers & a plethora of workmen were onsite constantly around the pool area constructing a huge stage....

Generally much better than we were expecting! It is a big family site!! Probably not to be enjoyed by romantic couples!! We arrived after 8pm after reception had closed. With a lack of adequate parking for vehicles towing and checking in, we totally blocked the road and no body was available to help!! very stressful after a long day. (Luckily...

Second year in this area which we chose because of childhood holidays and the lighthouse beach!! We picked this campsite purely for location as you an walk to beach. Brilliant site. Swimming pool warm clean safe and keeps all ages entertained. Caravan well equipped with a big comfortable bed in parents room! Staff excellent and helpful. Shop, cafe and facilities...

I first visited this site in 1973 as a young boy with my parents. I then returned in my 20s with a group of friends in the 80s. I’d always wanted to return with my children to see how they would enjoy it. And to see how it’s changed over the years. I’ve been to many campsites in France and...

Just back from a really good 11 night stay with our tent at this holiday village. Having read other reviews I was pleasantly surprised by the facilities which were always clean, and there was always plenty of hot water. No problem with showers etc being too busy - only time I saw a queue was about 6/7pm for the showers...

This was our second stop on our family holiday, having traveled from another Yelloh site and we found it to be disappointing. It was a very large site and straight away we were surprised at the lack of facilities, it was a long walk from our pitch for our young children. The pitch was nice but we had to put...

The camp site is very clean and well maintained. The pool area has a large undercover pool which is ideal for families with young children. The onsite shop is well stocked but as expected slightly over priced. Beware the coke in the ridge is 2 euros more expensive than the one on the shelf. There is a good wide range of...

These 4-star campsites need to advertise what kind of clientele they're after, or those of us without young children and looking for a camping experience rather than a Butlin's one will be disappointed. Their prices are way up at the top end of the spectrum, including everything such as use of the pool and electricity. But they were unable even...

Not what we expected, we imagined a low key campground - but it was completely over the top, and three times what we were used to paying. Great pool admittedly, but the whole place was a bit much. PS Make sure men/boys have French style swimming trunks - our kids weren't allowed in the pool.

We've been to other Yelloh campings and were very disapointed with this one. The toilets and showers were very bad (old, not clean, not enough). The only decent showers close at 22 p.m. (but the old are available if you want to use them). The is no safety control in the entrances (anyone can walk inside the camping); the only...
