We stayed here back in March and it was pleasant stay the hotel was just out of town was very nice and secluded with a big car park. Inside the hotel was clean and tidy and had good facilities, used the gym, for a hotel gym it is very well equipped the pool good too, we had one evening meal... More

Myself and My partner stayed here for 2 nights whilst on a groupon voucher, I found it all very random. When we booked in, the receptionist asked for a paper copy of the Groupon Voucher they hadn't told us we couldn't have an electronic copy, to which she replied 'I did tell you to bring a PAPER copy' and huffed,... Stayed here for two nights in May, just for a little getaway. The hotel is in a lovely little village, but you'd need a car to get around really and visit the neighbouring places. The hotel reception staff were really helpful and checked us in quickly, they also booked us a table at their restaurant which is highly recommended, especially... More

We enjoyed a two night stay at The Oriel, booked through bookings.com, two weeks before our visit to North Wales. We found the Reception staff to be very pleasant and efficient and the Superior room was clean, comfortable and of a high standard, particularly the lovely bathroom, complete with bath. The bed was amazingly comfortable. The free Wi-Fi worked fine.... More

My wife found a deal for the oriel on wowcher and we headed down from Liverpool for a couple of nights during half term. Staff were absolutely fantastic throughout our stay and room was lovely. We both had breakfast both morning which was spot on and had a little pampering from the spa which was well needed and unbelievable. We... More

We stayed at Oriel a couple of weeks ago. Our friend was getting married so from logistics point of view this made more sense to stay there. At reception we had a very good service during our short stay. Breakfast was very good with a good choice of food and drinks. The room we stayed as well as bathroom was... More

Pleasant stay made all the better by friendly staff who made a lovely effort towards my sons fortieth birthday. The hotel looked a little tired and needed some improvement, but the staff made up for it. A walk in shower would of been better as my husband had difficulty getting in the bath to have one.

We stayed in a deluxe room, although it had no fridge/mini bar and we could not see what was deluxe about the room. The staff were friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfast was 1 sausage, 2 slices of bacon and choice of egg along with a disappointing half a mushroom, half a slice of black pudding with half a tomatoe!!!

Stayed here Sunday & Monday nights mid May on a business trip. First impressions were OK, however then you start to see the faults. Good points The ground floor room was spacious with a huge Queen sized bed which was very comfortable. Bathroom a good size. Nice swimming pool. Staff very polite and helpful. Free Wi Fi (but very weak... More
