Just to reiterate the very good reports I have read here in the reviews. Old houses do tend to have power points down low, so I smiled when I had to plug in the kettle. Breakfast was very good, dining room very interesting and all was well presented. Bedroom a bit dusty - I laid my trousers on the floor...

David and I had a wonderful two night stay here. We were greeted with a very warm welcome from the lovely owners David and Lynne who were very friendly and charming. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel like part of the family. The house is amazing and very homely in a beautiful setting. They do...

A fantastic hidden treasure. Spacious, clean, handsomely decorated - all within well maintained extensive grounds. Dave and Lyn were perfect hosts. A very restful stay, will definitely be back when next in North Wales. Roadside signage could be improved.

Beautiful house in beautiful surroundings, the owners were wonderful, even ran us to the Rhyl train station due to the early departure of our train. Stayed with my hubby, daughter and her husband, couldn't fault anything, our only negative is, you do need a car.

this is a lovely presented family home which has 3 bedrooms let out for Bed & Breakfast. As the other reviews say, the hosts/owners were very welcoming and friendly, it felt like you were visiting family! David called us in the morning to make sure that we knew where we were going! When we arrived, we were immediately welcomed and...

My Mum and I stayed here for one night in May, we were just visiting a family friend in nearby Rhuddlan and wanted somewhere to stay over night. We arrived at Bodlonfa Hall and were welcomed by Dave and Lynne who were so nice! The place itself is beautiful, not to mention the grounds and views. In the evening, we...

Me and my partner stayed here a few years back. I cannot fault this b&b. The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming. The rooms are wonderful. Very very comfortable and clean. Lynne even ironed my partners trousers and Dave acted as taxi and took us into St Asaph. I have recommended Bodlonfa Hall to a few friends and I will...

This place has potential to be a luxury getaway – idyllic surroundings, large modern room and fresh milk and cakes on arrival. Unfortunately the room, including the bed sheets smelt of cigarette smoke and there was a lack of hot water in the morning. Room also lacked information about the area, though David was able to recommend some nearby places...

We have just returned from Bodlonfa Hall after a 2 night break. A lovely warm welcome from Dave and Lynne. The house and room were beautiful and there were welcome slices of bara brith to have with our tea and coffee. Plenty of toiletries and even Hot Chocolate! Breakfast was excellent and very hot. We had a wonderful time and...

Beautiful setting but room not very clean, poor toiletries, tea & coffee facilities poor, kettle on floor no tea spoon, sugar in bowl crusty, no milk! No tv remote! Great place but attention to simple homely details poor. Breakfast not great. Might sound picky but at these prices & 4 stars expected much better! Wouldn't really recommend except for location.
