Bridie and Pat made my stay very comfortable and I owe Bridie a big thanks for contacting her friend in Clogbrack to get information on my family history. I traveled in early May 2011 and stayed four nights. Bridie's breakfasts are very good and her help finding any living relations in the Clonbur area was very helpful.

Bridie took us in after midnight after our booked b & b had given away our reservation. We were so grateful to her. She was so welcoming and kind. The beds were so comfortable I had my best night's sleep there. And in the morning, we got lots of tea and sympathy. Thank you Bridie! We'll never forget you!

This B&B is run by an amiable, mature couple. Upon arrival the prorpietress was feeding the cows the clippings from lawn cuttings. The couple were very welcoming and friendly.

Our room overlooked the views of countryside and hills. The room is compact, but has all you need. The shower and toilet are in a small room, also, but everything worked well. The bed was very comfortable. I saw Bridie ironing the sheets and remarked to her that I don't do that at home for myself.

Breakfast was just fine and everything was cooked as we asked.

All in all, this was a nice night in the country with amiable owners.

We spent 1 night here in September. Bridie's welcome was true Irish hospitality and she gave us a number of tips of what to see in the area. This place is a 2 km drive from the village of Cong. Our room had a nice view of the countryside. There was no television in the room and the bathroom door was more like a wardrobe door and the wash basin was in the room. The shower was nice and warm. The television in the lounge was a huge flatscreen. There was no heating on, probably still too early in the year for the Irish, and the room got very cold at night. But we found another blanket. Breakfast was good.

My wife and I returned to stay for two nights with Bridie in her excellent B & B which we visit every summer in this beautiful part of Co. Mayo. We got the customary friendly welcome. It is a beautiful bungalow overlooking the mountains and the weather was marvellous. We had an ensuite bedroom with all facilities including a very good shower.
Bridie gives us supper each evening in the comfortable TV lounge and makes you feel very much "at home". The breakfasts are beautifully cooked and she provides a great variety of juices, cereals, yoghurts and the traditionalI Irish Breakfast.
There is ample car parking and is situated on a quiet road about one mile from the village of Cong where you can enjoy walks at Ashford Castle, Lough Corrib, and many historic buildings. Bridie has a great knowledge of the surrounding area and can recommend walks and many places of interest to visit.
We would strongly recommend this Bed and Breakfast where a warm welcome is assured.

A very friendly welcome from Bridie, who did all she could to make us feel at home. Lovely views from the bungalow, especially from the comfortable lounge in which we could sit in in the evenings looking over the scenery from which the bungalow took it's name.

To be honest this was our first B&B and now we will never stay in another one. The host was very friendly but did not offer any information about the area. There was also no fresh baked scones or anything else as stated on web site and the full Irish breakfast was ham with hard cooked eggs and some cereal set out. The second morning we waited even to get a cup of tea or coffee while she fussed around her locals only. Finally we left without. The room was freezing and our room had the door wide open when we got back from town our first morning. In our driving tour package we had two more B&B's to go to but after this experience we cancelled and went with hotels instead.

We stayed in Hill View Farm B&B for one night as the B&B we had booked told us on arrival that they had to close a couple of rooms and that they had moved us to Hill View Farm. Turned out to be the best moved ever as Hill View Farm B&B is simply wonderful. Bridie is the perfect hostess, so warm, friendly and welcoming. Our room was lovely and had everything we needed. It is so quiet there and the bed extremely comfortable so had a good night's sleep. The breakfast was fantastic and Bridie's homemade brown bread is simply to die for! We had such a relaxing stay here, nothing was rushed, there was no pressure to get up and have breakfast early. I would definitely stay here again if ever in Cong and certainly recommend it to other travellers. Just wonderful - thank you Bridie!

Absolute gem of a B&B. Bright spacious room with comfy bed. Started the next day with a delicious Irish breakfast with home brown bread that the wonderful host Bridie made herself. What I loved the most about the place was the quiet location with the most stunning view of the Connemara mountains from our bedroom window. Will definitely be back, but next time for longer because I felt so at home staying here.

My family stayed at this B&B two nights while traveling by bicycles (through West Ireland Cycling) through Cong area. Bridie and Pat are great hosts. The breakfasts were great, their suggestions and directions (important for us bike riders) were helpful. They even had a roofed in area to store our bikes at night. The B&B was just above town and we biked into Cong every night for dinner. The sunsets from the front yard are quite beautiful. Peaceful night sleep in the comfortable room made for the best stay there.
