We were greeted by the matriarch of the lodge and met her delightful daughter-in-law the next morning. Martha was a tremendous host and made us feel very welcome. We really enjoyed the made-to-order breakfast and Martha was full of great advice for our day of sightseeing. She had a wonderful suggestion on a river walk that led to Ashford Castle...

There is not enough room to write all of the good stuff about this place. Just go and stay here for yourself. The hosts are amazing. The breakfast is delicious! And the village of Cong is a hidden gem in Ireland. Just go!!! I loved it here and can't wait to go back. One night and a day in this...

This is an old style B&B in the heart of wonderful Cong. Within a short walk of the pubs and restaurants of Cong as well as Ashford Castle and its fabulous grounds this is a perfect location. Old style but with wonderful friendly hosts and an excellent breakfast. Get a taste of the traditional Irish country B&B with the best...

We had the good fortune to stay at Ryan's River Lodge while in Cong. While we've been to Cong twice before we'd not had the chance to stay in town itself - the downside of not booking in advance! This time we were met at the door by Martha who said she did have a twin room and a single...

Martha ( owner) will make you a full Irish breakfast that will stay with you for hours! David ( owner and husband)...

Martha Ryan is an outstanding hostess. You will be greeted with a smile. The rooms are immaculate, the food is wonderful...great selection prepared to your liking. She repeatedly provided insight into sites to see, and went out of her way accommodating our stay. This was our second time staying at Ryan's River Lodge, we cannot imagine visiting Ireland and not...

We had three rooms at Ryan's River Lodge for one night in September. The service was wonderful. Perhaps the thing we used/enjoyed the most was the "family room/den". It was on the main floor, large space with lots of room for people to just read or talk. Fire in the fireplace and view to the river. It was exceptional...leather couch...
