Christina was warm and welcoming and provided us with a warm, cozy, homey environment along with a nice and clean room. We had a wonderful 'Ashfield Special' breakfast! We were only there 1 night towards the end of our trip, but if we had been staying, Christina would have very willingly pointed us to great sights and restaurants. Her daughter...

We had a wonderful stay at Ashfield House. The rooms were comfortable, felt like staying in a friend's home. Beds were comfortable and nice ensuite. Christina was a delightful host. Excellent breakfast. There was a lot of options. Would highly recommend the poached eggs on a potato waffle. Home is beautiful.

Excellent place to stay with a very friendly family who put everything into running a business. The b&b is spotless and everything is to hand if needed and as for the full Irish breakfast I had everything morning for 3 days well says it all it was one of the best I've had. From the moment that Mum and I arrived, we were greeted with such warmth that we knew this was like a home away from home. Christine and her family are so very friendly and welcoming that they made both of us feel very much at home. The guest rooms are splendid and comfortable and the breakfast was simply beautiful. I...

Where to start on our wonderful stay at Ashfield House? The property is beautiful. Located across from fields of cows and stone walls, and just a few miles from the village of Cong, Ashfield House was our home for a week in western Ireland. My wife and I (as well as several our family members) occupied rooms in the B&B...

Firstly, I'd like to say that Christina made our entire trip top-notch. From the delicious made-to-order breakfasts to the ultimate recommendations for dinner out and sites to see, we were treated like family. I can't imagine a warmer, more wonderful host or B&B experience. The rooms and gardens were lovely, with plenty of places to enjoy the outdoors; either laying...

My siblings (4 of us, plus our spouses) stayed for a week with Christina and her family, who made us feel right at home instantly. We used Ashfield House as our home base as we travelled each day to see parts of Ireland. Our parents were staying at Ashford Castle, which is just 2 km down the road. My husband...

We loved our stay at Ashfield House with Christina. She was so friendly and helpful. Our room was nicely decorated and the property grounds are beautiful. Food was delicious as well. Overall, our favorite B&B that we have stayed in Ireland so far!

Christina and family are friendly and welcoming, but the facilities just don't cut it, especially for a B&B with such a high rating. We were two couples staying for one night (thank god!) and both couples found the rooms extremely cramped. In our case, the plumbing in our bathroom also made all kinds of odd noises and the toilet took...

We were attending a wedding in Ashford Castle. Left car at B&B and got taxi to hotel and back afterwards. B&B very clean and comfortable. Christina and her son presented a beautiful breakfast cooked to order. Best breakfast ever. Would return again .

“The rooms are all upstairs, so if you have mobility issues, just be aware. The stairs are easy, however, and have a sturdy rail. The shower had a rail which was good. The rooms stay cosy, so you won't need to rug up.”
