We arrived at reception at about 3pm to be checked in by a girl in her pyjamas who said she was studying! She told us all the grass touring areas were unavailable as it had been raining (not an unusual occurrence in Ireland) and we had to park on the road at the top of the site, which overlooked the...

Cong is a beautiful village and the locals are really warm and friendly. However this hostel a must to avoid. Other than the fact that you have to pay to use the showers, a creepy Englishman lingered about the place and some of the bed sheets had semen stains on them.

We arrived at this location for our 'glamping' experience unaware that it was actually part of a hostel and camp ground. We were abruptly shown are 'glamping' tent and the facilities by the owner. I would say the only thing 'glamourous' about this camping experience is the fact the tent is already set up.... other than that all it really...

This wasn't a bad camping site and majority of the staff were nice, however our trip was ruined by the owner (at least i think it was the owner) of the site. From the time we arrived he was very ignorant and rude. We booked online at a set price and when we arrived he tried to charge us more...

Ok hostel. Expect basic comfort and normal price. Owners are polite, but looked a bit tired at the end of the season (which I understand). Kitchen is basic, tv room is basic. Everything is there, but not a very warm atmosphere. Not bad, not exceptionally good.

We arrived at this hostel to find that they had no recollection of us booking. We booked via a booking website in March, and we were told it was "too long ago" for them to have a record, due to internet problems. Although the owner offered us dormitory beds and provided us with directions to a nearby B&B (which we...

Quite nice... not too expensive... There was a weird white-haired guy with English accent.. on the premises. We found him quite 'peculiar' , at odds with the ambience of the place. Please lose this guy, owners of Cong Hostel.!! Otherwise, we'd definitely like to come back

We spent a night in this hostel. Rooms are cleans and good equipped. The breakfast was easy (milk, coffee, bread, butter and jam) but everyone was friendly and openminded. The hostel is in a perfect position To reach all the main attractions of the little city. Good prices!!!

This is a camp site and hostel, very close to Lisloughrey Lodge on the grounds of Ashford castle. We stayed in a private ensuite room for 55 euros for the night. The room was very small. It was clean - towels provided. The mattress on the top bunk was very uncomfortable - springs sticking into your back. There is no...

Margaret and Jerry the owners are some of the most gracious people I have ever met. They answered extensive questions about the area, gave me great tips, even called over to make sure the tour wouldn't leave without me. Pristine clean, comfy beds, great bedding, super hot showers that are free...the meters are from a long time ago and they...
