Just returned home from Blue Lagoon Ocean and have to say this hotel was absolutely superb. Everything about the hotel pretty much exceeds a 4 star hotel and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a trip away in Kos. I travelled with a group of 3 and we stayed in the Junior Suits rooms which were suitable for three people, this included a double bed and a single bed. This looks out onto a shared pool which is very big and spacious, however as we traveled in October it was very cold so only used this twice in 7 days. Also the sun didn’t reach the patio, so looking back we wouldn’t have booked this suit for the pool and the sun. There is also not a separate bathroom area so you walk out of the shower straight into the room. Just be aware of this if you are travelling with fiends and not comfy about being changed around them. The rooms are cleaned every day to a very high standard so there is nothing to worry about on this front, you get clean bath towels every day and beach towels every two days. There is also a regular top up of shower essentials just incase you didn’t want to take your own. There is a problem however with water every day, they don’t top up your water bottles following your first day arrival and if you want new bottled water you will need to buy it for 6 euros at the bar or the mini mart where it is cheaper. You can get free tap water from the al inclusive bar though if you did want this. The pool area is superb and very spacious, there are many sun lounges with two pools so you are always guaranteed a spot on a morning. There is two nice sized pools. However when travelling in October, they are fairly cold and could have done with a warm up. Once you are in it is ok, but due to the temperature you can’t stay in too long. There is also a wide range of drinks for all the all inclusive, plenty of cocktails to chose from and other alcoholic drinks. This stops at 12 midnight, and you need to pay from them on. On the website it advertises as 3 restaurants, I think due to the time I travelled and covid there was only 2 open which included the ALA Carte. Despite this, the food was outstanding and couldn’t fault it one bit. Each night they have a wide range of choice and each night they offer a new theme for you such as International, Greek, Asian so each night is not the same. You also get drinks in the restaurant on the night so this is covered. The staff in restaurant were so friendly and helpful, this included Adriana who was a star and was so nice and smiley each day. The restaurant is super COVID friendly too, you have to wear a mask when walking around and when choosing your food, also you must wear gloves and sanitise your hand each time you go in the restaurant. While on holiday we met a group who visited the ALA Carte restaurant and they said it wasn’t worth going into. The food is very similar to the main restaurant and you need to pay for your drinks also if you want a glass of water they charge you 1 euros (bizarre in an all inclusive hotel) The one thing this hotel lacks and to be honest it wasn’t what my group travelled for was the live entertainment on an evening. We travelled for 7 days and 3 of the nights the entertainment was good, apart from that it was a man and a women who sat and sang songs with no enthusiasm. The lady sang from her iPad and very often looked up apart from when looking at her partner. She sang the same songs each night and it wasn’t much fun. So please be cautious of this if you are looking for a hotel with entertainment. The through the decades night was very good and much better though, they also offered an opera evening and a rock evening. Blue Lagoon Ocean is also a 10 minute taxi drive into Kos Town, so very hand to get into each night or during the day. This is 10 euros in a taxi so is very reasonable. You can also get the local bus which is 2 euros running until 11pm at night. I must say staying at this hotel was superb and would highly recommend to anyone, with it being an adult only hotel it is very calm around the pool and a chilled vibe around the place. A very enjoyable week in a fantastic hotel.

As I go home today I wonder why people rave about this hotel .yes it is good to look at and yes the staff are good at what they do .however the the room we had was supposed to be deluxe but was basic an not much better than a travel lodge .the all inclusive was poor food was luke warm and repetitive the beer was like water and the cocktails not much better .the alacarte was ok but you had to pay for your drinks which was funny because it comes from the same place as the all inclusive plus the fridge in the room has only 2bottles of water in it and is never topped up . I have been to 3star all inclusive and better than this .would I come back No.

Where do I start. Great staff. They work some hours here. We have been here 7 nights and noticed staff members working from breakfast service and waiting on at the evening meal too. They work so hard here! The food is in abundance. You will not go hungry here. Trust me. We trusted Blue Lagoon Ocean Psalidi to accommodate us for our honeymoon. We honestly hand on heart couldn’t of wished for a better hotel. I’d 100% recommend getting a room with your own pool if your budget allows. It’s made the holiday for us. The local water sports people are great too. Very clean hotel. Maid attends the room every morning. Would 100% recommend and come back here. I rarely write reviews. Only if something is exceptional. This place is. Alcohol is very low grade cheap stuff but hey you can’t expect unlimited cocktails using only premium spirits day after day in my view. They need to make a profit along the line to keep the hotel open.

We had a great week. The hotel is beautiful, spotless and with the best staff and service. We were upgraded to Junior suites with sea view and pool. Food was very good, pool area well maintained, and well planted and landscaped. Its 10 mins on the bus to Kos Town, with easy walking to a local beach. FYI beach is gritty and pebbly so recommend beach shoes. KOS town beach much busier but more sandy if thats what you prefer. Liked Agios Fokos beach which has a relaxed beach bar and is 5 mins on the bike, 1 bus stop, or a 25 min flat walk. Ate out a few times as even the best food gets repetitive, and had excellent seafood in Kos. Hired bikes for €5 a day as easy bike path all the way into and through the town. Not 1 hill! Particular mention though to the staff who were without exception excellent. All in all you cant go wrong.

This hotel is aesthetically very pleasing on the eye. It's a beautiful hotel with private pools and hot tubs with certain rooms. We had a hot tub and it was the best choice as we could use it all week long. The private pools etc were very cold and very few people using them. The food was good,4star I would say. Plenty of choice for all meals. The beaches here and dreadful so if you like a beach holiday as this was described this is not for you. The location is a bit far from anywhere although the buses are regular and reasonably priced. The real negatives here were the all inclusive drinks and the entertainment (lack of). It felt like the staff were paying for the drinks themselves. You were only allowed one drink per person at a time in poxy little cups so the queue at the one bar was constant. Really disappointing and why we went out 3 nights out of 7. The entertainment was beyond dreadful. A guy on his organ and a female singer butchering every song she sang. That was the extent of the entertainment 6 nights out of 7. The pool area is large and we never struggled for a bed. Overall this was a good week but could have been soooooo much better. We wouldn't go back to this resort but it's not the worse we've stayed at.
