We had 2 rooms for 3 nts. Hotel now has changed name and it's called Hotel Ramon Brito. Pros: free bottled water daily. AC worked ok. One AC needed service and it was promptly provided. Good location near dock and restaurants. Fridge in room is weak but better than nothing. Sitting area near rooms is nice and wifi reaches there....

Either for a budget trip or if you want to experience how life goes in the small town of Bayahibe this is a nice hotel to stay; the rooms are clean with AC, flat screen; rooms in the third floor have a balcony with a partial view to the sea, bathrooms are average. The hotel includes breakfast but it is...

In the interest of fairness, I will say that paying $35/night is very reasonable especially when it includes breakfast. The rooms are very clean and spacious, including a balcony. During my trip, the toilet was constantly leaking. When I told the front desk, they seemed completely unconcerned and, in fact, never fixed it. I ended up repairing the flapper on...

Nice hotel, wifi in the reception area, pleasant staff, clean rooms, close to the water front and restaurants. The price makes this property very attractive. This is a safe little town that thrives on tourism. This may be the best scuba diving Dominican Republic has to offer. The catamarans will take you snorkeling, and cruise the beautiful area waters.

This was my first time in Bayahibe and my impression of the hotel at first was it seemed like a great deal because of its location. The Hotel itself is actually in front of the beach (super small) but no one really bathes there because there are boats that are constantly going to Isla Saona so therefore not really suitable...

The Guest House is located right in the centre of Bayahibe just a few minutes' walk from the beach and restaurants, but was quiet as a church at night. Our apartment was spotless, spacious, newly decorated and came with its own private jacuzzi (note: cold, not hot). The owner, a young German named Christian, was attentive to our every need...

I would recommend this hotel for its position and Dominican Republic 'flavour'. Rooms were clean and comfortable and parking was available. Breakfast was included at a nearby café - the food for breakfast was OK, but the lunch and evening fare was not so good. There was virtually no English spoken so communication was difficult. We had a room on...

A very basic hotel. Nothing particularly wrong with it but way too over priced. Rooms are basic and could be better maintained, but clean and the hotel is perfectly placed next to the beach. However reception staff was generally not useful and often unfriendly. Unwilling to help me with a basic request when no longer a client. We stayed is...

Great location. Beach nearby plus boats to the island. Great nightlife, great streetside local food. The nearby national park has great hiking, birdwatching, and a cool cave. The Hotel Bayahibe is Spartan but the price is ok. There's no free wifi nor free breakfast as advertised on Expedia but breakfast can be found nearby and it will do you good...

This is a good hotel if you are budget minded. It is fairly clean feeling... honestly it felt cleaner than the Barceló Dominican Beach all inclusive resort we stayed at. There were a few issues though. If you don't make a reservation ahead of time you might get stuck with a first floor room. This is what happened to us....
