Detailed Reviews
I did hotel management and have worked in 5 Star hotels, The pool is gorgeous and is definitely the selling point of this hotel, the food was absolutely gorgeous , the chef was so nice I ate there every night as felt restricted to the hotel due to the bus because where the bus stop drops you off is on a busy dangerous road with two hidden bends on either side it would have been too dangerous to return at night at it took me almost 10 mins to cross over during the day as was so busy the cars are flying passed and they will not stop to let you cross. Yes the hotel offered transport but it would have been expensive for a 5 min journey into town compared to the bus. The earliest bus to town was at 10.30 in the morning. The hotel had a beautiful dog and the staff were friendly (family owned) but as I was the only one eating there every night I felt like a bit of inconvenience. The shampoo and soap were not even a quarter full and for the duration of my stay it was not replenished , details matter , rooms could use more colour as was quite dark rooms need to reflect the standard of the pool. As the food is great i would suggest to place menus in the rooms and turn on lights in the restaurant Have music on , have lit candles on to tables to encourage more people in as it did not look open, reception area also doesn't look like a reception area . Where my room was no.31 there needs to be a rail on the stairs as it was very windy where the room is located. The stairs were steep and I had to grab the window sill ledge to not fall back. I was also brought to airport instead of ferry , It was a good thing my ferry was late, good stay overall but there was a few minor things

40 minute walk from town on dangerous
Air conditioning didn't work properly
Half empty shampoo left in bathroom
Bugs everywhere
Very unprofessional but friendly
No cooking facilities in room all we got was 2 cups a spoon and salt
Shower head fell off while in shower
Busses run to town but not very frequent
Didn't get in the pool as it had lots of green mould
Toilet didn't flush properly

What a disaster this holiday choice was. We booked this through booking .com , and artived on 1st october 2017 for what should have been a week , after we had checked it out on trip advisor, and the reviews were good !!! When we arrived it was dark around 8 pm , after a delay at the airport, we were hungry so went to the poolside bar/ restaurant, it was full as they had a group of artists staying. We had a portion of there left over food , as that was all they had ( pasta bake. Of some sort ) we then retired to our room . The only positive comment i could make of this room is the beds are very comfy . In the morning we were woken by an excavator working next door with a concrete breaker , the noise and vibration were amplified in our room . I asked the owners wife about this and was assured it was a one off and they had spoken to there neighbour about this .
We went out for the day and came back around 3 pm ( my wife had sprained her ankle and couldn't walk very far ) The concrete breaker was still at it. , so we couldn't sit outside , we retired to our room to watch the satelite t.v....which to our dismay only had 4 channels none of them english. !!! We had to have the t.v. on loud to drown out the noise of the digger.
I went to the restaurant to ask for the evening menu...to be told there wasn't one , and all they had to offer was TOAST OR YOGHURT !!!!
Now this where it gets interesting , as our choice from the supermarket was limited due to the lack of cooking facilities in our room ,
We took an infantry of crockery etc
3 small plates
4 forks
4 spoons
1 knife
2 pans
1 kettle
2 cups
2 small glasses
AND 1 SMALL ELECTRIC RING ...
NO OVEN.
NO TABLE OR CHAIRS.
So we had egg sandwiches ( which were very nice....beats toast and yoghurt )
The next morning we were woken yet again by the concrete digger at
7.40 am , i went straight to reception to complain . When i told the owner ( marcus ) we were not staying , he went from an easy going host....to an not very happy host.
After his wife pleaded with him to be reasonable, he reluctantly agreed to refund half of our money.....i agreed to this as we were not staying there a moment longer and some money was better than no money.
The money was paid into our account 4 days later.
Summing up this accommodation , it is due for some money to be spent on it, and the building work and electrical wiring finnishing
Finally if you are looking to go to Mykonos do your selves a big favour and choose somewhere else.

The hotel is nice, clean, located 10-15 minutes by car by Mykonos Town. The pool is nice, having a poolside bar and a panoramic view on the nearby hills (very nice in the evening/night). But the most important gem of the hotel is the owner who is absolutely fantastic host.

We have spent 3 wonderful days with my parents in Peristeronas! It is located 10-15 minutes away by car from the heart of Mykonos and very close to Panormos & Ftelia beach!! The studio was clean and fresh, with a/c and free WiFi but the best spot is the pool area!! Amazing, big and clean pool with a sitting area inside the pool, perfect to enjoy refreshing moments!! Markos-the owner was very friendly and accommodating and there is also free transportation!! For sure we will visit Peristeronas again very soon!!!

We have just returned from a great stay at Peristoneras village. The owners Markos and Kostas and his wife (a family) are so helpful and hospitable. From the day we arrived, we were collected from the airport. The family even went out of their way to get a baby seat for our 5 month old son. The next day, we sat down together and went through all of the attractions of Mykonos. We were treated to home cooked food on the house constantly throughout our stay. The accommodation has a rustic Greek charm and although simple, it is very clean and comfortable. It has a great pool which is right outside the majority of the rooms. The proximity to the airport and Mykonos town is also very convenient.
It is obvious that the owners really care about their guests and the experience. We would fully recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a warm and welcoming place to stay.

Marcos, Kostas, Vasiliki (sp?), and all the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. The hotel is a little outside of the main center of Mykonos, but they make sure that they pick you up and drop you off. My room was absolutely adorable. The pool is a great asset to the place and very relaxing.

This is a lovely place to stay and it deserves more rave reviews! The host Marcus and his son Kostas were so warm and attentive. The gave us lifts to and from the airport. They also have a lovely dog and they had some kittens while we were staying. It was so welcoming and extremely relaxed. I went there with two friends on a girls holiday and I had a really great time. Very good value for money for Mykonos - it is not a cheap destination for a holiday. Breakfast was simple and very good. The pool was gorgeous. The views from the apartments of the surrounding hills at night was really nice.
