I needed to stay in Mykonos on my way to other small islands and I found this amazing accommodation for two nights. The hotel is close to the center (10 minutes walk) but out of the Mykonos chaos. It is spotless, comfortable and very well decorated -looks brand new. The real asset of the place, however, is the owner Thanos, who went out of the way to accommodate us. Not only the transfer airport/port is included in the fees but he allowed us a later check out, providing fresh towels for the swimming pool so that we were able to take advange of the island until the very last minute. A very good breakfast is also included. We were really impressed by this place and I strongly recommend it to everybody.
By the way, if you need a rapid Covid test before flying home, there is Mykonian Higeia clinic on the corner of the hotel.

This is your typical intimate and personable Greek Hotel. From the word go the service was top notch with a transfer being provided from the port. The rooms are spacious, soundproof and have huge (and comfy!) beds. Breakfast was good and there was a decent snack menu throughout the day. Location is great - a 15 minute stroll down the steps to Mykonos Town. There was also complimentary transfer to the airport provided upon checkout.

Finally, and most importantly for us - the hotel took every precaution against Covid-19. The staff were constantly cleaning and fresh sunbed covers and towels were provided every day.

I've just returned from a five night stay at this great hotel with a group of friends and can't say anything but positive things.

The staff were so friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about everything on the island, especially the ladies at the front desk who took the time to show you everything the hotel and island have to offer. They even got in touch with me months before I arrived just to let me know that someone would be there to pick me up at the airport. The owner, Thanos, who picked me up and dropped me off at the airport, was also very warm and kind - he made me feel welcome the second I landed.

My room was gorgeous and spacious. A great view of the sea and sunsets each night with a balcony to enjoy it all. The room was spotless and the staff who cleaned it each day did lots of little things that I've never witnessed at any hotel before (they folded clothes I left out, they organised my shoes, etc..) They take pride in their work and it's absolutely noticed! I've also never had a better sleep, the mattress was very comfortable, linens were great, and a wide variety of pillows to suit your needs. I was worried I would hear cars passing by or doors opening/closing early in the morning, but it was 100% perfectly quiet.

The pool is gorgeous and I wish I took more advantage of it, but the view, the size of the pool, the sun loungers, can't ask for more.

The hotel breakfast buffet was delicious, varied and fresh each morning - so much selection you wouldn't ever get bored. Fruits, yoghurt, cereals, meats and cheeses, hot items like eggs and bacon, waffles, cakes and pastries - you name it.

Would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Mykonos and I look forward to returning.

This was my 5th year of staying at this hotel for a short break of 4 nights. From the moment we were picked up from the airport to the moment we were dropped back off we felt so safe. Thanos & his team are just wonderful & nothing is too much to ask. They had the highest hygiene standards in place anyway but have put in place even more measures to protect staff & guests from Coronavirus. Breakfast is plentiful & lunch/dinner portions are not for sparrows! We will definitely be returning.

We've just finished our stay at this hotel and didn't want to leave. We had the loveliest, most relaxing time. The hotel is located on a hill above the town. We walked into town and back every evening. There's steps outside the entrance of the hotel you can take. It took us about 10 minutes to walk in and a little more to get home, walking home gave those legs a bit of a workout!

Room
We stayed in a double room with a patio and it was fab. The room was spotless and really spacious and the patio was lovely to sit on in the evenings with a beer.

Staff
The staff are all lovely especially the owner. Everyone was so friendly. We visited during Covid and everyone was so good at wearing masks and ensuring we felt safe also.

Pool
We loved the pool area and used it almost every day. Towels were provided at reception and there was a bin to put them in when done. There were always empty sun loungers and we had the pool to ourselves a lot of the time.

Food
We had breakfast every morning which was really good. There were lots of options to choose from - pastries, eggs, cheeses, bacon, yoghurt, juices, fruit etc. We also had lunch a few times and everything was delicious. The salads are amazing and everything was reasonably priced.

We had such a great time and would definitely stay again!

This family-run hotel is small (around 20 rooms) with modern, spacious rooms (with great lighting options) and a spectacular view of the sunset from the bar. The pool is lovely & overlooks Mykonos Town.
The hotels picks you up and takes you to the port or airport, gratis (no charge). The friendliness & attention to detail is apparent everywhere. The maid cleaned my room when I was working in it & even cleaned/wiped the legs of the chairs!
The breakfast buffet is outstanding.
It is a bit of a hike down pathways to the center of the village (15 minutes), and not the easiest climb back. So a good option is to know the bus schedule. Walk to town & bus back. The bus stops right in front of the hotel.

My best friend and I took our sons to Greece for a college graduation gift. Our stay at Damianos was fabulous! Complimentary pick up from the port and drop-off at the airport was much appreciated and saved us $$. The complimentary breakfast buffet was likewise appreciated and very tasty. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning with a beautiful pool overlooking Mykonos town. The rooms were spotless and beautifully adorned. The hotel is ideally situated close to the main area such that we could walk everywhere within minutes, although be aware that it is a walk uphill when coming back to the hotel from Mykonos town. The rooms were spacious and came with a great blow dryer which is sometimes often hard to find in Europe. The staff went out of their way to assist, even packing us a "to-go" breakfast on our departure since we were leaving so early. Would definitely recommend and will return in the future!

This was my second visit to the hotel, this time bringing more friends a long. Having had an amazing time back in 2018, I was worried it wasn’t going to live up to expectation I’d set in my mind/with friends. However, it was even better!! The renovations that have been carried out have made it more beautiful and the staff were even more attentive. The location is perfect for the town and other attractions, and the pool area/bar are fantastic for relaxing days. Couldn’t fault our stay here.

What a gem this hotel is! After searching high and low we settled on DAMIANOS and it didn’t disappoint! It was fantastic value for money and the staff go out their way to make the stay even better. When we arrived the staff showed us a map of the best places for views, food etc. They have an airport pick up/drop off for €20 euros which is worth it. The rooms were stunning. Modern with touches of bath robes, slippers and toiletries for us to use during the trip. The location is great as you are central to everything and the staff handed us a card for booking private taxis. This was great and always had them available. We fell in love with Mykonos and damianos hotel. We can’t wait to return again!

Hi the rooms that I have stayed in vary. I've had 2 rooms that were quite big and another not suitable for what you are looking for. Your best option would be to contact the hotel owners themselves. They are very helpful and quick to answer questions. My apologies also for my late reply Best wishes and safe travels

The hill is definitely hard work but it depends on your fitness level, the time of day etc. We are in our early 70s and do it 3or4 times a week. We take our time and stop a couple of times. Why not walk down and jump on the bus back, the buses are really cheap

Hello You can just ask the hotel owner to pick you up there, otherwise take a taxi its very easy! the buses are not bad but they are driving only every hour or some only all 2 hours and their always late.. enjoy
