Small rooms, under the swimming pool, 2 meters underground, with a small window looking at the garage lot... Dirty towels were waiting upon arrival... Dirty floor, tough beds extremely small TV Matina is rude and she isn't willing to answers questions or to help. Imagine the following dialog: "Do you offer breakfast" - "No" . At the day of departure,...

I stayed now since many years nearly all year for some days there, saw the pension Martina getting grown uo from the first small rooms till that appartement houses in cycladyc style with great view and that comfortable and wonderful relaxing places at pool where you get your breakfast. Always i love that warmth and friendly mood. A familiar pension...

My wife and I stayed at Pension Matina overnight in 2008 and 2009. We loved it. The rooms were spotless, the staff very helpful and the facilities first class. Great swimming pool and fab views. OK, town is quite a hike but Matina is much more peaceful. We can't believe some of the adverse reviews - we will be staying...

The worst place we stayed in Greece. We booked through Booking.com and when we arrived we discovered that they overcharged us (and it was a lot!). No shame! They even poste their prices inside the rooms (that's how we discovered the scam). Compared with the price, the quality was catastrophic. My advice: avoid this place.

I wish I could get my money back. I don't know if I was sleep walking when I reviewed this hotel, but I thought I saw some good reviews. It was a mistake to stay here and if you're reading this review, there are SEVERAL other places you could spend your money. I was very diappointed in this place for...

If you can avoid staying at this pension, do it! It is a vile place. The owner is incredible rude and unfriendly, the rooms dirty and the service dismal. We stayed there for one night on the 1st August 09 and would not stay again. It started wrong from even before we arrived. The hotel was meant to send somebody...

I just returned from a week-long trip in the Greek Islands. After staying in some places that were more like a youth hostel, I was very happy with my stay at Pension Matina. It´s a little hike down and up hill to the center of town, but renting a scooter is the best option to get around. I definitely recommend...

We booked this hotel for one night while in transit from Syros to Athens. It was very hard to find a place in Mykonos and luckily we found this and booked it. When arriving into Mykonos port lots of hotel owners was offering us accomodation - in July. Lesson learned: Don't book early - you pay a higher price and...

There was one guy at the hotel that was the son of the owner who was tremendously helpful. Although the owner was very very rude and would not help with anything. Moved everyone in the hotel to dirty rooms. A beautiful property and location, but only some of the staff is very helpful.
