We stayed for couple of nights. We could have stayed for at least another night but the time does not allow us ;) The place is beautifully located on the mountain where you will able to see the entire city and the beautiful ocean.
We stayed 6 nights here in October. The weather was 20-22 Celsius and very windy everyday. Hence, the reason Mykonos is called the windy island.

The nearest beach ( at the old port) is 4 minutes walking . You should be aware of many kinds of famous beaches (outside the city/town); Those who famous and recommended ( for example - Super paradise or Paradise beach or Elia beach - and there are many more ) are very far away from the town ( city) and you need a car/taxi to get there ( 20 minutes driving ) . The question whether to stay outside the city ( at those beaches) or in the city is very subjective.
Sorry for the delayed response. It is a 5 min walk to the edge of town. Another 10 to the center. You will learn quickly that it is all up hill on the way home, so the nights after a cocktail or two can be a challenge... More
