"Mykonos View" is located on the slopes of a hill looking down on the fashionable main town of Mykonos and the sea beyond. The rooms are grouped together harmoniously to form a multi-colored collage made up of various shapes and numerous materials and levels. The rooms differ from one another in both form and decoration. "Mykonos View" is situated a short distance of Mykonos center thus offering the perfect combination of quick access to the busy harbor area, security, peace and quiet.

We spent 6 days here in August 2019. Felt we spent a few days too many in Mykonos...ideally three days wold have been enough but the hotel pool made up for it. We got up there early every day after a really nice breakfast in the hotel and got two sunbeds in the shade which may sound silly but by the middle of the day you would be pleased to have the shade...we could almost hear the other people sizzling out of the shade. The view from the pool is fantastic out to sea and over the harbour. We felt it offered good value for money although some rooms were better than others...we had to change rooms after the first night because our first room had the most horrid bathroom and I would have rather slept outside than use the bathroom. Second room much nicer. Staff very friendly and very helpful.

Fantastic location just a 5 min walk into the town (downhill so a little more strenuous on your trek home) but it meant it was quiet no road noise or loud music- occasional ferry fog horn during the day. Everything was spotlessly clean. The employees couldn’t do enough to help us and booked days out/car transfers etc. Breakfast buffet was traditional Greek pastries with scrambled egg and bacon, served to you in these Covid times, which to me is preferable than a hundred hands digging into the Greek salad!! Just a wonderful week really in a relaxed Mykonos.

Staff was friendly, helpful, and responsive. Every request we made was handled positively and efficiently. Chairs for our balcony, printing ferry passes, directions, suggestions, transfers to/from ferry dock, etc. Room was nicely cleaned every morning. Pool bartender was perfect, bringing towels, pointing out HH specials, setting us up with wine ice bucket and plastic wine glasses for our room, etc. Breakfast buffet was good with plenty of variety. We dined in the Restaurant one night and food was tasty, and waiter was smart, efficient, and attentive. The walk to/from town wasn’t that much of an issue, but make sure stairs to your room won’t be an issue because there can be many based on your room location. The hotel has several vertical levels. We really enjoyed our stay and do/can recommend this hotel, mainly because everyone was so service-oriented.

Not a relaxing stay. To start with the positives the rooms are nice and clean, clean bedsheets and towels every day is a nice touch and reception were very helpful when we asked for extra pillows and when the fuse blew twice and the fridge broke (these things happen). The aircon is good and rooms bright and airy.
Unfortunately although it’s a nice view from the pool if you look straight ahead, immediately below is a very busy road and car park that you cannot tune out to or help but find a massive eyesore and earsore, in the description it sounds as through you just have beautiful views of the sea and Mykonos. See photo attached for actual view! There are not enough sun beds by the pool and only FOUR are in the shade which in the Greek heat is an absolute killer, I understand why they can’t have parasols due to the wind but you just lay like a fried egg all day in full sun unless you manage to get up at 5am and beat someone to the shaded beds as someone always manages to reserve them then barely sit there all day (infuriating). Says pool opens at 9am and all cordoned off yet the same people were able to reserve the shaded beds with their towels no matter how early you wake up. The hill big you have to walk down to get to town is a death trap, it’s so so busy and no footpath or safe walkway so have to have your wits about you and feel like I’ve spent a week crossing the M4 to go for dinner. The hotel play blaring music from 12pm until gone 12am to drown out the road noise but it means you just cannot relax, and god forbid have an early night as you cannot sleep through that noise. Forget napping by the pool or reading a book and pack your headphones. I had to wear my headphones and play white noise to try sleep the one evening we had booked a boat trip following morning just to get to sleep at a reasonable time. You cannot even talk to your partner at the pool it’s so loud, it’s like the barman wants it to be a party hotel, we clearly booked the wrong place but we just wanted to chill when by the pool. We got told off once for bringing a can of coke to the pool, but pool bar charge €4 for a soft drink. The pool bar man is rude. The breakfast is nice and plenty of choice and breakfast staff are nice. We will not return to Mykonos as we found it busy, overcrowded, polluted and stressful (not to mention expensive) but to not even be able to relax by the pool is a shame. I read somewhere it is an adults only pool….NOT the case. It’s not really the place for kids, nothing for them to do. Overpriced and overrated. Oh and don’t forget to add the hotel tax to your bill at the end when you check out. If you get a taxi in Mykonos use iMove and book through the app, cheap reliable and lovely people.

Staff at the hotel were very helpful and welcoming.

Shoutout to bartender Foti who was super friendly and made chilling around the pool a lovely vibe, chilled Ibiza music playing and the yummiest cocktails.

Our room was cleaned everyday and breakfast has a great deal of option and sets you up for the day. Restaurant food is also good and nice spot to watch the sunset.

The cocktails are expensive but found that around the whole of Mykonos. It is a little walk into Mykonos main town but the hotel is perfect location as you get a beautiful view from the pool and you soon get used to the walk and there are restaurants and shops along the way.

The only compliant however would be to update the shower curtains.

I think we went at the perfect time late Sep/beginning of October as I can imagine the pool would get very busy and only a few beds in the shade. But again peak months it’s bound to happen. Would recommend highly visiting at this time/months.

Thanks to the team at Mykonos View Hotel for a lovely stay.

The hotel is superb, we stayed in a sea view room which was great to watch the sunset from. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and have very good air con and the people working in the hotel were always super helpful with anything we needed, including arranging our taxis for us whenever we needed them.

The pool area is at the top of the hotel (it’s built on a hill, like most places in Mykonos) and has an amazing view of the sea and and Chora. My favourite part was spending time by the pool, where Fotis, the barman, took the most excellent care of us from morning till evening - he’s a brilliant bloke!

The views form the hotel are magnificent, the pool was beautiful with plenty of beds always available. Wasn't mad about the number of stray cats hanging around and drinking the pool water, not expected for the price you are paying. The majority of staff were very friendly and provided an excellent service especially the Ontario bar (separate review) and the lady taking care of us at breakfast every morning (male member of staff at check in borderline rude and not friendly during our stay). Superb selection at breakfast each morning, hot and cold options baked goods etc. I was however disappointed with our apartment/room the bathroom in particular is donkeys years old - for the price I would have liked better facilites and a newer room. However I absolutely recommend this hotel.

Firstly I'd like to start with the negatives, actually I wouldn't even call them negatives as they are just pointers to be aware of. This hotel has lots of stairs so if you are someone or is planning to go with someone who has limited mobility or struggles up steep stairs then maybe this is not the place for you. Also, our provider TUI when we booked advertised this hotel as adults only, this is not the case either and clearly other providers sell it as a family hotel which it appears to be as there were children there and facilities that catered for them so again be mindful if you want adult only, this is not.
Now on to the positives which is everything else. The location is ideal, you're about a 5-7 minute walk, maybe less to the beautiful heart of Mykonos. But this also means you're far enough away to not hear the late night partying that goes on too. The pool is cold but lovely and once you're in you soon get used to it. Pool bar is great, nice relaxing music on and great views over the whole town with sunset views to die for most nights unless cloudy. Our room was great, very traditional and basic but we loved it. Air con which was needed after climbing all the steps but we were very pleased with the room.
All the staff were fantastic, it's amazing the languages they can speak to accommodate each guest/family that is staying and they are all very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is a lovely variety of continental options but also has eggs bacon and sausages. The fact that this is served until midday helps if you wish to have a lazy morning. We had a couple of evening meals in the restaurant and the food was amazing. Probably the best meal of our trip was in the hotel restaurant so I would definitely advise to eat there at some point, very reasonably priced too. Cocktails are great and the pool bar man made a fantastic cocktails each day. I can't recommend this hotel enough, it may only be 3* but it has everything you need and for a lot less than you'd pay in these so called 5* hotels. Had an amazing holiday and am very grateful to all the staff for all their hard work to allow us to have such a good time 🇬🇷

The hotel is located close to the Old Port, so you can easily take a bus from New Port (if coming by ferry) for 1.60 euros one way. From there, you need to make your way up a winding slope to the hotel reception. To reach the town centre, you simply walk straight down, pass a gantry and you will end up in Mykonos town (~5 min), which makes this hotel pretty conveniently located.

We got a room with two double beds, and our room came with a view of Mykonos town centre, and was perfectly poised to catch the setting sun over Mykonos. Sadly however, it was cloudy that day and we were unable to experience the setting sun for ourselves. The toilet design could be improved; the shower curtains generally do not help and the floor tends to flood easily after a shower. Other than that the room was pretty good. The staff were also quite friendly and helpful. I think because the hotel is perched on a hill, there are steps everywhere to get to various rooms, but fret not, the staff were more than willing to help with the luggage.

Breakfast is served Greek style, from 8 to 12 noon, which I really appreciated! First hotel I have noticed that would do this. Greek-style breakfast simply means quite a spread of pastries and sweets, as well as Greek yoghurt and condiments. There are the usual American breakfast items, but only two of them, which was usually scrambled eggs and either bacon or sausages. Some changes between days, but generally the spread was invariable.

I had a tour from an Athens tour company arrange a ferry (high-speed boat) and Mykonos to Santorini tour, and the company recommended this hotel for its wonderful view. I heard that the official name is "Mykonos View Hotel". It is located about a 10-minute walk uphill from Mykonos Town. You have to climb stairs to access each room, but the wide balcony in front of the room had a wonderful view that was worth it. You could see the whole of Mykonos Town with its pure white buildings, and also the windmills of Kato Milli, the symbol of Mykonos Island. The beautiful Aegean Sea was right in front of me, and the sunset was beautiful, so it was a really wonderful location. And the hotel pool had a similar wonderful view. I was able to relax in this wonderful view and in the comfortable room and balcony. The staff were all very kind, and I had a really pleasant stay. There were many types of side dishes at the breakfast buffet, and they were all delicious, so I thought the breakfast was of very high quality. I was able to walk to Mykonos Town, Little Venice, the windmills of Kato Milli, etc., and I had the best holiday in Mykonos. If you are staying in Mykonos, this is definitely a recommended hotel.

Hi, I booked a ground floor room without a sea view, I am not familiar with the view of the superior rooms. Personally I believe these rooms have a sea view but I think it is better to ask the hotel directly. Kind regards R.

There wasn’t when we were there, some beds are under the shade- probably 6/8 of them. With the Meltemi in august I’m not sure a parasol would survive!
