Kouros Hotel & Suites earns rave reviews for its attentive service and breathtaking atmosphere, though it tends to be quieter in the evenings. The spotless cleanliness of rooms and grounds frequently receives high marks from guests, alongside the well-equipped rooms with stunning views, despite a rare complaint about an odor.
Its proximity to Mykonos Town and the Aegean Sea is popular, as are the luxurious spa and infinity pool. However, some travelers warn of the high costs and unexpected fees diminishing the hotel's value.

Detailed Reviews
We stayed at this hotel as the friend I was travelling with had stayed here a couple of years ago.
Mary gave us a fabulous welcome and provided a glass of bubbles whilst we checked in. Face masks were worn by the concierge team at all time’s and sanitiser was available.
We had a suite with a hot tub on the balcony which had stunning views over to Mykonos town. Our room had twin beds and a sofa bed. Small fridge, iron, ironing board and the usual amenities to make you feel at home.
The restaurant menu is a little fancy in the eve, but offers your usual staples for room service or lunch around the pool. The breakfast was al la carte and delicious. All staff in the restaurant wore masks and were friendly and polite.
The hotel shuttle wasn’t running into town due to covid but it’s a short walk (albeit including a steep hill) fine for us but wanted to flag for older people/ buggies.
Fabulous pool area with stunning views. Annoyingly this does mean it’s the focus of a lot of Instagram shoots throughout the day, mainly from people who are not staying in the hotel have just come for a drink/ photos!
All staff were very friendly and would recommend.
Thank you for a very relaxing stay!

We stayed for 1 week at the end of August and would highly recommend the hotel. The location is great at the top of a hill with fantastic views over Mykonos town and the port. Town is just a short 10 minute walk away along a narrow road. The suite was clean, bright and airy and the hot tub on the terrace was a welcome addition, especially to take in the gorgeous sunsets each evening. All staff were very warm, friendly and helpful and they really made the stay very special. We will absolutely return in future!

A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveller reviews.
I stayed at the Kouros hotel for 6 nights with my husband in mid September and we had a really enjoyable stay overall.
First and foremost, the location of this hotel is great if you want a short walk into Mykonos Town and want to be close to the busy nightlife and have plenty options for dining out etc.
The hotel has two pool options, both equally as nice with lovely views of the port. Sometimes we did struggle to get a sun lounger and I would expect some further sun loungers for the number of rooms in the hotel. Also, we stayed in September so it would most likely be busier in the peak summer months.
We can only comment on the breakfast as we didn’t dine at the hotel for lunch or dinner but there was a good variety available at breakfast time. For example, many different styles of omelette as well as classic pastries, hot cooked breakfast options and fresh fruit and cereals. The quality of the food was good but not exceptional.
Our room was a good size, plenty of space and a nice balcony area to watch the gorgeous sunset. I would say the rooms are comfortable but they didn’t have the luxurious feel as other 5
star hotels we have stayed at. They could possibly do with a refresh. Nevertheless, the cleaners did a fantastic job throughout our stay and our room was always cleaned to a high standard. Unfortunately our room was located where it seemed a lot of staff members had a ‘smoking’ break so they were often having a cigarette right outside our room which wasn’t very pleasant (room 39 I believe).
The staff did do a very good job and were always extremely helpful and accommodating for any of our requests. They helped us locate a medical centre to have a covid test before departing and booked taxis as and when required. The front desk were friendly and warm and made you feel welcome.
All in all we had a good stay (probably 8/10). It’s a really great option if you want a central location. For us it was just lacking slightly on quality. I think this was maybe because we had stayed at the Katikies for 4 nights prior to our arrival and it is a true 5 star hotel. I would rate this hotel as more of a 4 star option.

Dear HTSJP24, Thank you for taking the time and sharing your experience at Kouros Hotel & Suites in Mykonos. Regarding the location of our property, indeed the center of Mykonos is only 10 minutes away but far enough to have quiet down time. Furthermore, this is the first season that our new infinity pool is in operation, for our guests' convenience. Regarding the sun loungers kindly be informed that our staff is always available to provide more sunbeds to our guest during the busy time. We are happy that you enjoyed our breakfast and since we are proud for the fine dinning Narcissus restaurant we hope to try upon your next visit in Mykonos. Kouros luxury boutique hotel was founded in 1994 and is one of the premier establishments to vacation. Completely renovated in 2018 by renowned French designer Fabienne Spahn, Kouros Hotel and Suites offers its guests an exclusive, elegant and relaxing experience. Additionally, since we are proud for the breathtaking view from every hotel corner, we also love to read that you enjoyed it. We love to read regarding our services since we invest in our staff training and always try to keep our guests satisfied. We aim to provide an amazing experience for you and our guests, and we're pleased that we succeeded on this occasion. Hope that you will consider us for a return stay and would love to welcome you back to Mykonos soon. Warmest regards The Kouros Hotel & Suites Team

The hotel is in a great location, on the hill, overlooking the Old Port to the left and the New Port to the right. It took less than ten minutes to walk to the town.
Everything went smoothly. We had arranged for a car to pick us up at the ferry, so we were at the hotel quickly. Check in was efficient and we enjoyed the welcome drink.
Breakfast was excellent. Not only was there an extensive buffet, but we were able to order eggs and other items made to order from the a la carte menu. Service was quick, and efficient.
We spent time at the pool and the drinks from the bar were always well made.
We wanted to spend a day visiting beaches, so the hotel arranged for a rental car to be brought to us. It was so simple completing the paperwork in the lobby, and just handing the keys to reception in the afternoon when we returned.
Our room was large, and comfortable, with a terrace and a great view.
All of the staff were friendly, efficient, and a pleasure to deal with.
We stayed in more than a dozen hotels during our 30+ day visit to Greece. Some cost a fraction of what we paid here per night, and one was nearly double, but this was the only hotel that did not provide bottled water in the room each night of our stay. If they really want to be a first class property, that is a small issue they could easily correct.

I totally recommend Kouros Hotel & Suites.
From our arrival at the airport until our departure (we stayed 7 days) we have been treated so well by all the crew from Kouros Hotel.
We have asked for some recommendations and for some help in booking specific places, and the desk team managed it so perfectly and with an excellent communication through WhatsApp, that really made us feeling appart.
Then, the hotel is perfectly located : 15min from the airport by car, near the new port if you want to visit other islands, and 15min walking from the old town to discover the real Mykonos.
You will enjoy a perfect view in front of the sea and you will love the sunset from one of the two nice pools they have.
The breakfast was very good with a lot of choice and the Narcissus restaurant offers really good products perfectly cooked.
All the personnel was kind to us, all the time. They made their best to satisfy our demands, anytime.
As a summary : YES Kouros is a luxury hotel perfectly furnished and located, with an astonished view AND the difference is really coming from the quality of the people working there and, for us, that was the perfect location to stay in Mykonos where a lot of things are « too much ».
Special thank to Eleftheria and Nopi at the desk.

The hospitality and greeting of the staff made my day at my arrival. A genuine welcome by Mauricio was noticeable at the Airport. Had a good talk on the way to the hotel and gave me so many information. Staff at the reception were exceptional, very attentive, friendly, cheerful and managed to accommodate all my requests. Giannis was extremely kind and showed me all hotel's facilities. Overall outstanding service.
The view from the hotel is breathtaking, especially the sunset from the infinity pool.
The location is great, 10min walking to the old town and it is very safe regardless of the time.
The room was stunning, spacious, modern, has some colors to give a life and most of all spotless, i was impressed with the cleaning and smell. The view was amazing.
The housekeeping staff are so friendly and hardworking. They clean all hotel' s stairs daily, that is why it is well maintained and looks like newly painted.
The infinity pool is beautiful and has a gorgeous view.
The breakfast was good with a la carte menu for hot main courses however the cold choices' selection was a bit poor. Staff at the restaurant were hospitable attentive and present at all times.
I highly recommend this hotel, which i already did to my friends. I had a great stay and i will deffinately come back.

Amazing, location, pool and views, property has a lot of potential, but it’s missing final touches.
Room looks nice too, but when you are paying almost 1 k (Aus) per night you expect a bit more.
Once we arrived on our room the minibar was not working ( it was replaced quickly after it) our room was super noisey and bright in the morning, so if you are light sleeper bring your sleeping mask and ear plugs.
They only offer One bottle of water on arrival, after that you need to pay for extra water (Which is very odd for a luxury hotel)
Guests are expected to leave the pool by 7:30 pm, so don’t expect to see the the sunset from the pool, also water is not provided after 7PM by the pool.
Breakfast is ok, super slow service and food is only served on your table, no buffet available.
And on top of that reception will ask for a tip on check out, which we found pretty crazy considering you are paying top dollars to stay there.

We were referred by friends to this lovely hotel. It was an excellent recommendation.
The hotel is immaculate with lovely views and great sunsets. Our room was in the new Sanctuary wing and was very spacious and beautifully decorated in a tasteful, calming minimalist style.
As 1/3 of our lives are spent in bed, a good bed in an hotel is mandatory and the bed didn’t disappoint. The bed was really very good! One little suggestion is that a pillow menu would have been appreciated.
The rain shower was a bonus as my husband loves a good shower and the shower cubicle was enormous. A note, the hot water takes a bit of time to activate and gets very hot
when it does. The toiletries were very nice and I was happy to see were refillable.
Breakfast is included and whilst not flashy, every dish I tried was excellently prepared. The poached eggs were actually poached not semi-hard boiled. Perhaps, slightly more heating before serving of the eggs would have been appreciated. There is also a buffet with fruits, breads, sweet rolls, cheeses, meats, avocados , yogurts and etc.
As I needed to do some work whilst on holiday and WIFI was needed, I was very grateful to find the WIFI worked very well. A real asset.
An actual dressing table with a mirror in the room. What a joy!
The infinity pool is clean and appealing.
As we were at beaches most of the time, we only used it twice but were happy to note the staff delivered water in ice buckets gratis and with charm without us asking. A nice change from the beaches.
Now, the most important asset of the Kouros, the staff. My applause to the HR department. Not a dead eye nor a smarmy smile amongst them. From the time we arrived, only genuine and considerate attention was paid. Our stay was enriched by their excellent service. Bravo Kouros. Concierge, bell staff, waiters and housekeeping were top class.
We didn’t have time to use either the gym or avail ourselves of the services of the spa so I can’t comment.
A wonderful visit.

Dear Janice, Greetings from Kouros Hotel & Suites! We are thrilled to read reviews about our facilities and services like yours. It is a fact that our brand new Sanctuary Suites are great and the sleep quality is a top notch. It is a pity to read that you havent requested a pillow menu as we provide this option into our Sanctuary Suites and the qr with our services include it. In any case, if you had requested from our front office team we could provide it to you. It is also a great reward for us to read that you have enjoyed our pool and our breakfast options. The greatest comment you shared is the one for our staff. We believe that the genuine interest for our visitors is the feeling we can create for them that we really care about them and their needs! Wish to welcoming you back soon! Kind regards,

My husband and I stayed at Kouros Hotel for the second leg of our honeymoon. We originally booked an Airbnb in the heart of Mykonos Town and upon realizing we would be unable to sleep due to the lively atmosphere, quickly pivoted and booked a room with Kouros. We walked our luggage the 20min from Mykonos Town to the hotel's location (not realizing it was all uphill) and were promptly greeted by Yannis at the foot of a very long staircase. Upon finding out we were on our honeymoon and walked all the way from town, Yannis immediately took it upon himself to make us feel comfortable and pampered. From sharing with us traditional sweets from Greece that were available in the lobby, to showing us the changing rooms, and going above and beyond by upgrading our room to essentially a honeymoon suite with a private entrance, pool, living room, and unbelievable view. He helped us book transportation, scheduled massages, and recommended resaturants for us as well. Maria did our massages and was incredible, we have never felt so relaxed or pampered in our lives. The food at the hotel was also excellent. We could not have been happier that we booked a stay at Kouros at the last minute. Everyone went above and beyond and was extremely welcoming. We highly recommend a stay with them for a romantic getaway.

Dear H5073lAlex, thank you for the great feedback you shared for Kouros Hotel & Suites!!! We cannot be more satisfied than reading your review and how you explain the way that our team provides services to our guests. Each one of our guests is unique and we try to offer anything is needed. Room upgrades, pending on our availability, information about the island, restaurant and beach bars bookings, rental car reservations, private yacht cruises, and our services such as spa treatments and our food and beverages options are few examples of the services we can provide to our guests. Wish to welcome you back in the future and celebrate with us an upcoming anniversary!

An amazing hotel. I stayed here with friends and we all had the most perfect stay. All the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and professional at all times. On arrival Giannis provided refreshments and gave us a tour of the hotel. Our rooms were very clean and spacious with all the essentials provided.
The pool area was immaculate, with comfortable beds. A member of staff would provide us with fresh towels and iced water around the pool. The views are stunning, overlooking Mykonos Town and the sea.
Breakfast was delicious. The staff were so friendly and dishes all freshly cooked to order. it would be hard to single out a particular staff member, however kevin and Frania were both outstanding.
The walk into town takes approximately 15 minutes along a narrow road. It is fairly busy, however as long as you walk in single file it is safe, including at night.
After looking at other Hotels whilst walking around, We were all so glad that we chose Kouros. If we returned to the island we would book this hotel up again without hesitation.
I would like to thank all the staff for making our stay such an enjoyable one.

No. There is a road between the hotel and the water; there is no beach there for swimming.
yes, absolutely
It's smart casual - long or short pants is fine.
Hello there,
I am not certain - but be aware Mykonos is the Island of the winds. It gets pretty windy & slightly chilly by the pool.
The pool is not heated. If you give them a call and inquire they will be more then happy to assist.
They are super friendly & helpful.
Hope you have an amazing time!!
