We booked this hotel purely from computer generated images before the summer season and before it had opened.
The good news is that it was a real hotel, the view was outstanding from our room and the location to town is very convenient.
The bad - not all staff were operating at a luxury hotel standard. They were incompetent at times, absent and even rude. It was quite a strange experience and not what we would have expected from a hotel selling itself as a luxury hotel. The hotel felt quite soul-less and the staff didn't help create a welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast was limited, however the poolside food was really delicious. The gym is a windowless shoebox and not as advertised.
Lastly, the ugly. It is clear they "rushed" to open. The hotel has stains all over the walls and tiles, there are construction markings still on the surfaces in the rooms and the hotel actually already looks "aged". Again it was very strange. We weren't the only ones discussing our experience as there were other guests in the pool the day we arrived complaining about their stay.
We actually expressed our desire to leave and requested a refund on the second day. The onsite manager acknowledged our concerns and said she would follow up with the reservations team to sort out our refund. We literally never heard another word from the team and we were essentially ghosted the rest of our stay. There was no attempt to rectify the situation or even try to offer an olive branch. Overall it was really disappointing.
If our expectation wasn't set for a luxury hotel experience, we probably would have accepted the sub-par quality of our stay.

We recently visited Lovia Hotel and Spa as external guests from a cruise and our experience was just amazing. The hotel’s spa is truly a diamond, with unique cave architecture that creates a calm and enchanting atmosphere. Every detail has been carefully designed, offering a sense of peace that keeps you away from everyday life.

I recently visited the spa with my mother, and it was an absolute dream! The spa is incredibly beautiful, with a sauna and a steam bath, where the soothing aromas instantly relax you, creating a wonderful atmosphere. On top of that, we had the spa for our self.
I also booked a Deep Energy Massage for my mother and a Peeling Massage for myself, and both experiences were amazing. All of my mother's tension just melted away, and my skin has never felt so soft. Spectacular hotel. A true 5 stars. Excellent breakfast, spacious, clean room, comfortable bed and all technology. A swimming pool in the room facing the sea and the sunset. Fantastic!
