It is 15 since my last visit to The Belvedere. Coming back was like returning home. I felt like the prodigal daughter returning to the most welcoming reception imaginable. The essence of the hotel is the same as it always was , it exudes an atmosphere of restrained and refined luxury. The rooms have been redecorated to a very high standard each unique. The pool surrounded by bougainvillea creates a delightful focal point. The hotels location allows you to walk easily to the town while still being an oasis from the hustle and bustle downtown. The staff are the unique selling point as they make every guest feel so valued. I won't wait 15 years to my next visit...guaranteed.

Having stayed in many of the best hotels around the world I would have to say our time at the Belvedere Mykonos was one of the greatest we’ve ever had. I cannot say enough about the services, staff, and amenities….. all were spot on and well above any expectations we might have had. Morning breakfast by the pool was served perfectly and elegantly, and the hotels proximity to town could not have been more convenient. From the owner of the hotel and all the fine staff, everybody was there and ready to help in anyway they could Again absolutely perfect

I loved staying at the Belvedere hotel it was so beautiful. The hotel is at the top of Mykonos town so you have a 5-10 minuet walk to all the bars and restaurants. The hotel is in the beautiful Greek style of mostly white with vibrant bougainvilleas. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We loved laying by the pool and relaxing during the day. Then a quick walk at night to all the bars. The food was so good at the hotel. They have a Nobu poolside. One evening we meet Mr.Nobu Matusuhisa. What an honor! We ended up coming back & staying three times that summer. We cannot wait to come back!

I stayed in the Belvedere 10 years ago and had a fantastic experience. I decided to return with my partner for a 5 day vacation.
Unfortunately the hotel has gone dow hill massively, and I would only give it 3 stars in terms of service and accommodation.
Firstly, the hotel charges €60 for a 10 minute journey from the port to the hotel. Considering all other hotels I have stayed in, ranging from 3-5 star, offer this as complimentary, I feel this is just a money making scheme from the hotel and does not value the customer experience.
The room we were allocated was basic, nothing suggests €500 quality per night. The bathroom was tiny, barely enough room to close the door whilst inside! The shower is designed poorly so that the shower glass is not long enough, so the water spills out onto the floor. The plug hole had not been cleaned and was full of gunk. Really quite disgusting. We had to request extra towels to mop up the water!!! We raised this with management and were moved rooms, to a slightly larger room.
The breakfast is sub standard again. If you compare to Cavo Tagoo or Myconian Kyma, the Belvedere doesn’t come close. Due to some covid reason breakfast was made to order (despite other hotels on the island offering buffet breakfast). We ordered scrambled eggs with salmon and they charged us €18! It was 2 slices of bread, with Philadelphia and some old watercress which had gone yellow!!!! Appalling.
The hotel used to be known for being a high end celebrity orientated hotels, but the vibe has completely disintegrated over the past years, with the hotel charging extortionate rates for a very sub standard service.
By the pool the furniture is falling apart, with new plates of food for customers left out unattended for the cats to eat. This is a huge health and safety issue. The hotel staff also seem like the need extensive training in customer service.
The only positives are the hotels location to the town, and the quiet atmosphere by the pool.
There are much better hotels on the island where you receive much better value for money and service.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. The transfers of the hotel are made with the hotel's driver and luxury cars and are chargeable from most of the hotels of our caliber. The hotel offers a continental breakfast as indicated clearly on the website and the additional items are listed in the a la carte menu with their prices. The cats in Cyclades islands are popular animals and we protect the ones who find shelter in our gardens.

We were really disappointed with the Belvedere in Mykonos especially given how much we were charged. The rooms were ok but very basic, and the service / staff was not friendly at all. The lady at the check in was unhelpful and very curt. Breakfast was a really small selection from the menu, the fruits were spoilt and they even charged us extra for eggs. Considering the price they charged for the rooms, we were really upset about everything.

The positive is that the hotel is very nicely located with walking distance to everything in Mykonos town. The small pool area is beautiful with pink flowers and is well maintained. Beautiful breakfast area and bar. Very small and pittoresque. However to the rest…When you pay over 1100 euros a night you kinda expect to get good quality and high standard. Not in this case… the rooms were super small, dark and to be honest pretty bad with cheap furniture and a wardrobe that couldn’t “stay opened” because it was wrongly put together. A bit annoying. We complained about the room and the guy in the recepetion showed us other rooms to change to, just as small or facing a wall… and that would be for an additional cost. No thanks! When checking out (earlier than planned since we were so disappointed) I forgot my charger in the room I spoke to Pavlos in the reception refused to give it back to us with the response “allow me to inform you for the second time we do not have your charger” with a very irritated and rude tone, but when we went there we it was finally given to us by another of his colleagues.. The breakfast (which they also charged extra for) was not good. Inattentive staff, just a pile of carbs and bread that didn’t look very tempting and the à la carte not very good to be honest. A bit more healthy options and variety would have been appreciated. This hotel would have been ok for a 4 star but def not 5 stars.

I have spent 4 nights at the Belvedere, this hotel is really a joke ! I have booked a sea view room, it was such a tiny room with a terrible smell inside, table was dirty, and no sea view. Breaksfast very poor, service terrible need to ask 3 times for orange juice, eggs overwell cooked, table not very clean, service by the pool a disastre..... the staff really need to be trained how can the hotel is branding by LHW ?

We stayed here for a week, and it was definitely the right choice. This hotel has the best location, as it is in the center of town! Hence, there is no need to use taxis to move around town. It is such a beautiful hotel, tucked away, with bougainvilleas and white washed villas. Each suite has a private balcony, which is such a nice touch. The service is absolutely amazing, in regards to the housekeeping, the Nobu restaurant and the overall staff. I used the concierge to book all my reservations for restaurants and beach clubs, which was extremely convenient and helpful. The spa is also sublime; it is a Six Senses one, and offers a private steam room inside your massage room. Overall, our stay in Belvedere was really relaxing and definitely worth returning to.

The hotel advertises itself as a 5 Star hotel but it is far from the 5 Star hotels we have stayed in like Ritz Carlton properties, JW Marriott, St. Regis, etc. We booked a sea and pool view room and our balcony view looked into a trash strewn alley with a homeless family just off our balcony. Since we didn't want to sit on our balcony, we took a glass of wine down to sit outside by the pool around 6:30. One of the staff members came by to tell us the pool was closed for dinner and we needed to leave within 10 minutes. Basically they take over the entire pool area to serve dinner although we were not told this in advance and there was no signage to indicate this. One of the front desk managers told us the next day that we could have moved to a different area by the pool but the staff member had not mentioned this. At the nightly price for the room we were extremely disappointed with the facilities, location, and service. I asked to speak to the manager on duty rather than writing an unfavorable review but after the staff member checked with them, we were told they not available but were offered a different room with a better view. Overall it was a very disappointing experience and a property we would never recommend or frequent again.

This is the main Belevedere hotel to the Belevdere Hilltop suites we stayed 5 nights at and I posted a 2600 word review about our experience. Please be sure to read it before you book any room in either of these places. I can only assume there is one management team over these properties who are responsible for the extremely poor service. Workers seem to be doing their best. This is not a five star quality place, its barely 2 but you will pay five star prices.
