We stayed 4 nights at Poseidon. It was a GREAT location, about a 5 minute walk to the town that had restaurants, shops, and the bus stop to mulitple beaches. It was very convenient!

The room was an okay size, a bit smaller than we hoped for. The washroom needed a major 'face lift' to be more modern. However, our room had double doors that opened up to the balcony, which gave a beautiful view of the water (and made up for the small room and bathroom). You could open the doors and sit there to watch the water & sunset. One of the best views.

The pool was nice and fairly deep, however the water was a bit cold. There were always poolside chairs available, and you can ask for beach towels at the pool bar.

The breakfast buffet had a very good selection every morning with a lot of options.

The hotel shuttle to and from the port was very convenient and a short ride - about 10-15 minutes.

It was a great stay at Poseidon, and would recommend it for a close stay to Mykonos town.

Overall this a great hotel and would recommend. Free transfers to and from airport. We had a standard room with partial sea view that was actually a good view alghouugh tiny balcony. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was modern with a good power shower. Nice reception area. Nice pool area (with caveats) and great loungers. Good choice at breakfast but awkward because you couldn’t serve yourself and felt rushed. Niggles include; A full ashtray of cigarette dimps on the balcony on arrival. Definite lack of clothes storage, not one drawer, just a single wardrobe, we used our suitcases. Bathroom whilst good was tiny and no hooks to hang clothes when undressing for shower or to hang damp towels on. House keeping was hit and miss eg bins left unemptied - I had to ask, two pool towels taken but only one replaced. Had to ask a few times for tea and coffee to be replaced. Things like that. Pool area: we were there the week of shutdown leaving at noon on Saturday. On Friday half the pool loungers were removed, some while people were relaxing around the pool. Saturday morning we had 2 hours to kill and wanted to sunbathe but all pool beds had been removed plus chairs round the pool bar so couldn’t even sit there. We’d paid for a full stay and expected all services to be available until all guests had left. The pool was nice but definitely needs a regrout.

We chose this hotel based on it’s excellent location after staying at an extremely pricey boutique hotel in Mykonos last year. This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Mykonos. The hotel is beautifully maintained and the decor is modern and tasteful. Service was impeccable with every request catered for with a smile. Little touches such a welcome drinks were gratefully received. Transfers are such an added bonus and transfers to beach clubs etc with the hotel were reasonably priced. Rooms were beautiful- with extremely comfortable beds and fantastic showers. We loved the view from our balcony. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast each morning with lots of fresh good quality food including traditional greek options.

Great Location for easy access to the centre of Mykonos town and restaurant's. Pool area is good for a budget hotel. Breakfast only fair but good enough to get your day started. Room nothing over the top but good in size with adequate bathroom. The hotel has a nice evening bar area but lacks good service and prices food ordered from the bar around the pool area was not very good thus with lack of people using the area lacked atmosphere.
Cheap and reasonable alternative to the more costly options in Mykonos

No paper toilet albeit of all the times we go to the reception they keep forgetting to bring it. Additionally cocktails are fairly expensive (13-15€) however breakfast is quite nice and the views are incredible. Yet, the service is poor...

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to downtown Mykonos. A 5 min walk along a narrow street. The rooms are nice and clean. the Beds were comfortable. The one problem I did have was the jacuzzi on the balcony. Very small, and absolutely no privacy. Your neighbors can look right over the very small dividers between balconies. The pool is salt water. It isn't right on the beach. you actually can't even get to the beach from the hotel. We were supposed to get round trip transportation from the airport but our departure flight was very early in the morning so the hotel charged us for the return trip to the airport.

We loved our stay here! We had free transfers to and from the airport close by which was a great service. The hotel was beautifully laid out with a big reception area with different areas of seating. Our room wasn’t that big but had all we needed, tea and coffee, a fridge and a lovely shower. Breakfast was a help yourself all you can eat and had a wide range of food to suit all tastes. I think the only thing I was disappointed with was the pool being so cold you couldn’t use it. We visited early April. The pool area was gorgeous and the guy at the pool bar lovely. All staff were helpful and knew about things you could do and help arrange them.
I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

We spent 3 days here at the end of our holiday in the Aegean and it was a good choice. The location is ideal being just on the edge of Mykonos town (10 minutes walk to the windmills). Considering how busy and noisy the town is the hotel itself and the pool area especially was very peaceful. Great views overlooking the sea and the town. Our room was quite small which suited our needs but I think if you were staying for any length of time it might have been a little challenging. Limited storage space. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and regularly replenished. All the staff were very friendly and helpful although those staff working at reception seemed less engaged with the guests. The complementary transfer to the hotel from the port was very welcome given how chaotic the ferry arrivals are and the large numbers of people trying to get into the town. Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic location in easy walking distance from the central town (5 min walk) but also removed enough to be quiet at night and relaxing. Also a short drive from the airport/to the port. Very modern, beautiful hotel with a lovely spacious room and bathroom, excellent views from our balcony, a pretty chilled pool area and good food/drink options. The staff were really helpful and the included transfer was great. Breakfast offered a good range of standard European and Greek breakfast items. The toiletries on offer in the bathroom were of a high quality which was a nice touch. Perfect for exploring the town, whilst also having a nice oasis to return to to chill by the pool. Would recommend and would stay here again.

One minor consideration. If you're travelling as friends rather than a couple, in our room there was a small translucent window between the bathroom and the bedroom which meant we had to be considerate of where we were then the other person was showering/getting ready!

The overall experience at this Inn was superb! From free pick-up at the airport to staff at reception and variety of products at breakfast*. We were given a very well located room with direct sea views and very quiet for our wedding anniversary and we very much enjoyed this attention! This was a superior double room with balcony. The pool is fantastic, the decoration very aesthetic and relaxing. The room is not very spacious but comfortable with designer showers that work very well and everything is perfectly well maintained and clean. Perfect choice for the geographical location close to the center but quiet with views of the sea and the mills. *Only flat, the choice of fresh fruit at breakfast is limited and there are also fruits in a box, the juices are not fresh either, but rather concentrated juices cut water which is regrettable. It would be nice to have a gluten-free bread and cereal option:-) I would also have liked a small gym. I would definitely return to this Pension but in mid season because I found the Awards too high in high season compared to the services (400€ per night) knowing that the well located hotels in Mykonos are not cheaper!
