Detailed Reviews
This is a nice hotel, the staff are helpful and friendly. I agree with other reviews the rooms are minimalist but very clean and comfortable and if you are only staying for a few days the lack of hanging space and drawers is not an issue.
Breakfast is fairly good although food is not kept hot.
The pool area is good and plenty of places to sit.
The 2 issues outside the hotels control are both due to it's location. Being close to the airport you hear planes from early morning to mthe evening. The other issue is the walk from the hotel to the town, 20-25 mins across a bussy road and down a steep hill. We could manage it in 'sensible' shoes ( we're in ourn 60's ) but if you have problems with mobility look for a better location

I recently stayed in My Mykonos Hotel with my girlfriend when it was her birthday and the hotel staff were amazing, they provided us with a welcome drink and an amazing upgrade on check in as a surprise! The hotel is in the ideal location, just a 15 min walk in and out of Mykonos Town and located just 5 min walk from the famous Sunset 180 bar. The hotel rooms and facilities were amazing, traditional Greek island design mixed with modern designs and twists made the decor & interior of this hotel really beautiful. The food and breakfast was very good and we can't thank the staff enough for their hospitality.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone!
Allll the staff including the receptionist, the waitresses, the cleaners etc. are so friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
Rooms were spacious, clean and really well designed. We were even given a free upgrade upon arrival (off season)
The walk into the town is around 5 minutes and very desirable restaurants are very near by. Furthest away we had to go was a 15 minute drive but getting a taxi is very easy as the hotel sorts in no time.
The breakfasts is a limited buffet however provides all the usual and the staff are more than happy to accommodate for you if you want something that isn’t included in the buffet.
Thanks again to all the staff at My Mykonos for an amazing holiday!!

My husband and I travelled to Mykonos at the end of July and we stayed in this really beautiful hotel...
It is perfectly located very close to the centre of Mykonos, but on the way back it is better if you can hire a taxi as its a bit uphill.
The room was very nice with a wonderfull view to the sea.
We had an issue with the internet connection, occasionally not available throughout the day.
Our breakfast was a bit delayed as there was only one lady of the staff members working at the time, and the place was busy... however, we can see that this may be due to covid-19.
The breakfast on offer is a-la-carte and not in a bufett style.
The staff are very friendly, especially Nick at the bar during the evening, he made us amazing cocktails and he explained to us everything about the island... very friendly and polite.
We will consider this place for our next holiday as well. I would definitely recomment this to family and friends!

Our expectations of the hotel were exceeded by far. We had booked a classic double surrounding view and were very happy with it, quiet, relatively much space and everything you would expect. The pool, the entire complex and outdoor areas are very well maintained and invite you to relax.
I would particularly like to highlight Stavros and the team (Marios, Dimitrios, Vivienne), who take care of our physical well-being from early until late (7:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.). Always friendly, always helpful, always up for a nice chat. All in all, a perfect holiday for us.
The only negative thing was mold in the corners of the shower, but we could deal with that. The team at reception promised to take care of it.
Mykonos Town, the "Old Town", is ideal for strolling and shopping. There are very good and expensive restaurants but also real Greek taverns where you can also eat very delicious food.
Tip: The walk to the Old Town is not long but steep, not designed for high heels.
Have fun if you find yourself in Mykonos,
we will definitely come back!

We booked here for 3 nights but ended up staying 5 when our ferry to Amorgos was cancelled due to adverse weather. Re booking the ferry proved very difficult but the staff went above & beyond , to help us through the process. Thank you so much!
Apart from our troubles the staff went out of their way to ensure we were looked after. Very high standard of cleanliness & attention to detail. Breakfast nice but didn’t sample dinners.

Lovely hotel and the staff were mostly great, we didn’t have a very good check in experience, when the lady had completed the check in I felt like I still had a lot of questions about the hotel. I didn’t receive the promised welcome drink when I arrived and because I was there before the standard check in time of 3pm I didn’t feel the reception were particularly welcoming.
The location of the hotel was a let down, although it is only a 10/15 walk it is down a very very steep hill and in the heat was very difficult coming back to the hotel. Local transfer was charged at €40 from the hotel, so if you have mobility issues I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. The hotel could maybe look at other options for their guests such as a complimentary mini bus drop off.
The room was really lovely, very minimal and we had some lovely service at breakfast and around the pool bar!
Overall good but a few things that let the hotel down.

This comfortable hotel offers a selection of room sizes and styles (research this in advance of booking) and excellent food. The best part of our stay, however, was the people--kind and friendly hotel staff who went out of their way to make sure our visit was enjoyable. The location is just off the main road, above Mykonos Town and a 10 minute fairly steep walk down a dirt path and stone walkways to shopping and restaurants but the stone walkways are part of the charm of Mykonos. Nights, away from the bustle of activity in town, were quiet.

Absolutely loved our stay here! From when we first walked into the property all the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and lovely. As other reviews state, because it’s a boutique hotel you really get a personalised service.
All the staff were lovely but special shout out to Emily at the front desk who really went above and beyond to look after us.
The pool area was really beautiful I didn’t think the photos did it justice, there was always a really chilled vibe which was lovely to come back to after trips to the town and they had these little Cabanas which were perfect for those who want some shade from the sun- and I loved that these were free to lounge in for hotel guests as some other hotels I’ve been too have charged for Cabanas. At this time of year we found there always being plenty of choice around the pool for seating.
We had a sea view room and the view was amazing from the balcony! But you also got great views from the pool area too.
The location is perfect if you want to be walking distance to Mykonos town but have somewhere to come back to to relax and enjoy great views. We walked both ways up and down the hill to the town and it took around 15mins each way but it did look like taxis would be easy enough to arrange if you did want a lift up from the town.
Really enjoyed our stayed here would definitely be back!

On Instagram this looks amazing- our room was TINY no drawers only a tiny bit of hanging space for a couple shower completely transparent and the sink in the bedroom. Not enough beds at the pool and trying to order food with an extra such a mushrooms was not happening. I won’t be going back dissapointing
I’ve never left a review in my life but felt I had to for what we paid.

From memory - local beers ie lager. It is only a very small bar and eating area. However, the hotel is amazing and staff are brilliant. You can’t go wrong staying there !

Hemel Hempstead, United Kingdom17 contributions7 helpful votesI have just booked this hotel for July 2018 and would like to know how far is the nearest beach (walking distance)? And is it easy to get a taxi in to town? Holly
The nearest beach would be Megali Ammos which is around 2kms.
Taxis are available at the ports and the airport. However you might find a que in July.
I join you in waiting for a more knowledgeable answer on hailing taxis inside the town as i never did that.
Although I strongly advise renting a car or a quad bike because the distances to other beaches are huge.
(Do try oregano restaurant while you are at My Mykonos, its right next to the property!)
Hi Kerry,
It's about 10 minutes walking distance. As for the way back, it is a little uphill but not such a big deal.
Thanks, Zoi
