Late review.

My boyfriend and I visited Livin Mykonos Hotel at the beginning of September, it was honestly one of the best trips we have ever been on, the hotel was amazing. If you are considering booking this hotel... do it.

I'll keep this short and sweet.

The staff at the hotel were helpful before we were even in Mykonos, they arrived our airport transfer for us which was one less thing to worry about. When we arrived at the hotel (late in the evening), we felt extremely welcomed and were given fresh mocktails.

We stayed in the 'garden bedroom' and loved it. Nice big bed, lovely bathroom, great decor, big TV, mini fridge, lovely garden with two chairs and a table. Every morning the cleaner came and provided us with fresh towels, made our bed and tided our room. A few things to consider, the shower is a ‘wet room’ style as it does not have a shower curtain, the floor does get very wet. There is also a glass window section on the shower which faces into the bedroom (the middle bit is slightly frosted for privacy) - just a warning!

We loved coming down for breakfast every morning, the seating is right by the pool and has very relaxing vibe. The breakfast staff were always SO warm and welcoming, they knew our coffee/ juice order of by heart from the 3rd day! The coffee was so good, they offer soya milk which was really appreciated. We got orange juice every morning which was freshly squeezed, so refreshing. The breakfast was a buffet style that slightly changed each day. They offered cereals, pastries, eggs, mini pizzas (!!), yogurts, crepes, fresh fruit and much more.

The pool was lovely and relaxing, we never struggled to get sunbeds despite it being a smaller hotel. We ordered many cocktails from the pool bar which were great. We loved the bar staff and their music pool playlist!

In our opinion, we have never stayed in a hotel where every single staff member have been so welcoming, friendly and helpful, they were just the best. Maria and Vengelis were brilliant to us from that first day we arrived at the hotel - nothing was ever too much for them. They helped us several times booking taxis and organised a spare room for us to shower and get ready in after our we had already check out (our return flight wasn’t till the evening)!

Thank you Livin Mykonos Hotel - we loved our stay with you. xx

Just came back from a week at livin, Got to be one of the best places i’ve stayed overall for the service, location and rooms

The sun sets over the pool and it’s got one of the best views on the island we saw

Room exactly as expected and cleaned every day

The staff did over what they needed, nothing was ever too much. Thank you to Angelos, Kostis and Sophia

Bartender Kostis was 1st class - order a strawberry daiquiri aha!! made us feel so welcome and enjoyed our time at the pool bar more than out some nights out!

Breakfast was nice slightly repetitive but that’s to be expected.

Amazing stay just gutted we aren’t there still

We stayed in the hotel for 11 nights & from the moment we arrived we felt like we were in paradise & greeted with delicious arrival drinks (lovely touch) The hotel is stylish with a chilled vibe which instantly makes you feel relaxed.

Our room was a standard double & was spacious with a cute little terrace. Cleaners came in everyday & left our room lovely!

Breakfast was delicious with a great variety to choose from & nothing was too much trouble for the chef if you wanted something different (my omelettes were awesome)

Great location with only a 20 mins downhill stroll into Mykonos town

The sunset views from here are something else, enjoy with a delicious cocktail made by the lovely Aggelos. Could even rival some of the pricey places you visit for the same view.

What makes the place so special though are the team working here, nothing is too much trouble from the guys on reception organising trips to taxis to the bar staff remember how you like your drinks. But the big shout out has to go to Stavros (what a guy) his attention to detail is incredible & his priority is to ensure you are having a wonderful time, he really made our stay so relaxing.

Overall a gorgeous hotel with a lovely team, I highly recommend a stay here.

Stayed in room 303 deluxe classic room surrounding view - nothing deluxe about it. Despite sharing our concerns about room via email before our stay, we were just reassured but weren't even provided with any options not even paying to get upgraded to a different room. Room was dark, very basic in what it offered, advertised on website as a room for 3 people but there's only one double bed and a sofa which left only one chair to sit in at the living area, only 2 balcony chairs. Not enough storage for 3 people, 2 wardrobes but only a handful of clothes hangers, floor to ceiling even the tallest person couldn't reach that high up. Only 1 mirror, I requested more and was told the hotel was full and they could not offer one at the time. Friends lived out of suitcases in the empty room which was big enough to fit a bed in, but no bed provided or offered (see photo attached). No kettle in room to make tea as described under amenities on the website, coffee machine was broken and reported by my friend but nothing was done on the back of it. Bathrobes were mentioned on the website but none were present in the room or offered to us. Fridge was in the same room as the sofa bed, noisy kept us up all night. Room has a view of a neighbouring lot where dogs were kept and barked through the night along with a washing machine outside less than 50 metres away. No sunset view (see photo attached).
Breakfast was cold omelettes and fried eggs cooked ready on a plate uncovered, not fresh to order or on hot plates. Continental was nice, fresh fruit was nice but again left uncovered. No toast making facilities.
Sunbeds and bean bags were filthy, pool had broken tiles (see photo attached).
Beach towels handed to customers were hanged on trees to dry, very unhygienic (see photo attached).
Lunch is available around the pool but be aware it's subpar for a 4 star hotel. Go across the road to Paprika instead.
On our last day we had to pay an extra 100 euros to keep the room, as there were no dressing/showering facilities except an open shower next to the pool toilets (see photo attached).
Have to mention the staff were very friendly and housekeeping did an amazing job cleaning the room everyday and providing clean towels.
Definitely not 4 star service..
Wouldn't recommend staying here if you're planning to visit Mykonos.

Booked for Livin’ with Jet2, due to the reviews and brochure photographs.
The reality is slightly different.
It’s advertised as a new Boutique Hotel, it is quite tired, shower area, paint peeling and grubby.
Breakfast has plenty of choice, but most of the food is cold; Fried eggs, omelette, no toast(20minute wait on one occasion) the food in the warmer was cold one morning.
Bar can be expensive for some items.
Small bottle of beer €7, €9 for a bottle of sparkling water!!
Some bar food, Chicken Club Sandwich was €15, but was excellent, you could have one between you.
On the positive the staff are excellent, housekeeping do a great job, and all are friendly and helpful.
Pool area looks great on the photos, Not enough sun beds and they are pretty grubby, you definitely need a towel to be on them.
The music can be very loud, even with headphones on!!! My wife returned to our room on a couple of occasions as she could concentrate on her book.
We did notice some towels hanging on the trees at the back of the reception, maybe to dry?
On the last day, the showers weren’t working (Hot Water only), no shower on a particularly hot day with a 5 hour wait was a bit uncomfortable, no real rooms to sit in, so sat in the sun most of the day. Late check out would have been €120.
The walk down to Mykonos Town is quite hazardous, with the extremely busy road and hardly any pavement, 20 mins is about right for a daytime walk, but at night it’s about 35 mins.
While Mykonos Town is lovely, the Little Venice is area is mental and expensive, some bar staff don’t like it if you don’t tip, the other part of town is calmer, but can be expensive as well.
There are some great places to eat, D’Angelos’s, Marco Polo and Paprika near the hotel.
Good bars as well, especially Lola’s, very camp but great music and the cocktails are great too.
I wouldn’t return to Mykonos, maybe we picked the wrong resort???
Livin is definitely not worth what we paid and very disappointing.

The staff always greeted us with a smile and were happy to help with taxis/recommendations etc..
However, this hotel isn't as well finished as you'd expect and as the photos suggest for a suite in Mykonos, and for the price paid. The photographs are accurate in terms of layout, but obviously don't show the imperfections.

Some of the things that let the room down
Paint peeling
Damaged furniture
No tea coffee making facilities in the room.
No robes.
Shower wall fixings loose/coming away.
Damp/mould in the cupboards
Unconnected wires hanging.
Noises regularly come from the boiler downstairs.

The pool area is very nice, and chilled if you can get a bed. There are only 11 sunbeds for the whole hotel, and they were gone by 9am each day, which is a shame.

Overall, the room was bright and airy, just a little basic for the price.

Expect to pay around €40 for the cheapest bottle of wine in the bar. And food is only served to 7pm so don't expect to be able to have an option of an evening meal at the hotel.

There's a couple of decent restaurants over the road, but it's likely you need to go into town each night. 20 minutes walk down a precarious main road with no paths, or 5 minute taxi (approx €15) you could drive yourself but parking is very difficult at night

Started my experience with my carry on bag rolling from reception area into the pool while waiting for our rooms! The staff helped dry the content and provided trash bags to carry them to our room. Also offered to wash them, but since all clothes were unworn and new we refused. They showed sympathy and care by sending a bottle of champagne and fruit plate. Much appreciated. Overall the hotel was a low-key ok and clean one with large terraces which we didn't get to enjoy due to our busy plans for the 2 days we spent in Mykonos. The concierge service was mediocre. We asked for a van for 2 couples and our luggage to the port. A small SUV showed up and made us wait for 40 minutes until his friend/colleague showed up!!! We were lucky our ferry was delayed by about 20 minutes or we would have missed it! Breakfast was a glorified continent and definitely not worth €20/person! The cats were lovely though 😊

Just came back from a long weekend in Mykonos, first time to the island. We had such a nice time at this hotel I felt it needed a review. Whilst we were only there a few days, we got to know the staff really well. They are all super friendly and will bend over backwards to help. The room was lovely, we stayed in a standard double. It was very clean, bed was comfortable and the shower powerful (rain and hand). The pool area is very good with comfortable sunbeds and bean-bags, and the bar and food area is kept very clean. Breakfast options are good and we also ate in the restaurant on our last evening and the food was delicious. They also do fabulous cocktails!

The hotel is good walking distance to the town (little Venice end) around 15 mins, although the road is quite busy so extra care is needed.

One very small downside for us was that we had a very late flight back to the UK, and as the hotel was fully booked on the day we left, there wasn't a late checkout option or a room where we could freshen up. It wasn't a huge issue and was the only slightly negative feedback that I gave directly to the hotel. They did let us all the facilities for whole day though, which was so nice of them.

I would absolutely stay here again.

After arriving late we were shown to our room...302. Very dark leading to the room with no lighting and steps. First impression was shortage of storage especially in the bathroom no shelving for toiletries. No bedside lamps and had to put the kettle which was our own on the floor to make our morning coffee. On waking up in the morning the room was still dark due to having no patio doors just a small window at the front and the same at the back which was facing a stone wall. On opening front door to the terrace was faced with a road and a residential property with a washing machine outside. Noise from traffic outside. Photos on the website very deceiving. Spoke to tour operator and we were moved to a different room which was 100% better with a beautiful view and large balcony. Breakfast was not up to standard....Eggs cold every morning even if you got there at 8am. No facility for toast. Sunbeds filthy and tiles missing at the bottom of the pool. Looked like towels were dried on trees some of the time. The walk into Mykynos was so dangerous no pavements and traffic was horrendous so thank goodness for Paprika across the road from the hotel. Great food and reasonably priced. On a positive note clean sheets and towels everyday and room cleaned to a high standard. Staff were very nice. Would we stay here again......no.

Responded 28 Sept 2022
Dear Anonymous, Thank you for your time and your feedback, which we really take under consideration in order to improve ourselves. Though, please kindly note that for toiletries the space around the wash bin can be used and in case you would like to use an electric device there is a plug available next to the table in the living room. Also, in breakfast all types of coffee were included. Beyond the terrace of the room there is a small alley from which cars pass every now and then. Across the alley there are olive trees and as for the washing machine the neighbor property has 100m away the hotel cannot be responsible for. Moreover, the photos of the room comply 100% with reality, inspected also by your tour operator. Also, we offered you a free upgrade even before the operator reached us, since our guests are always our top priority. In addition, we totally agree with you that reviews are important and anyone can read them but kindly note that based on availability providing you a late check out until 13:30 was the best we could do. The breakfast, which starts getting served at 8am cannot be cold and also toast and a la carte omelets are served upon request. Our pool towels were always delivered to you freshly washed and if we aerate them before laundry, we cannot understand why this could cause any inconvenience. We would also like to thank you for your kind words about our housekeeping and staff, and Wholeheartedly hope you enjoyed your stay in Mykonos Kind regards Livin Mykonos hotel

We just left the hotel and we already miss the relaxing vibes of being their guest.
The atmosphere is magical, starting from the balcony in your room that overlooks the island. The housekeeper provide a perfect cleaning service.
In the morning you will be welcomed by the pool with a majestic breakfast, full of fresh fruit, tipical products, fresh croissant and pastry of any type. The service is fast and efficient.
The last but not the least is the staff to the front office, they let if feel like you are at home. They will patiently listen your request and satisfy every need, moreover they are so wonderful people and they give you that "value" more to your holiday.

Did not rent an ATV in Mykonos. Driving there is a little crazy. I arranged for the hotel to pick us up at the port which was a good idea. There are but 30 taxis on the island and lines of people waiting for them. The private car service booked by the hotel was complementary. The driver was really nice. We gave him a 10 euro tip.
