Just returned home from the bouganville playa costa adeje once again great holiday the hotel is still as good as it always is. All the staff are the people who make this hotel. We had a friend come out to join us for a week and he had a great time he said he was more than happy loved the cleansing of the hotel the food the staff the location and would definitely be returning again. The only thing I would say is that the live entertainment at night could be better the act's are a bit flat. The animation staff do a great job, but live act's need looking at. That said as it was our 10th time at the bouganville I will still be booking again as we love the place. See you all soon God willing.

Originally had booked the Las Dalias as had previously stayed there but due to renovations was moved to the Bouganville Playa. We were not disappointed! What a fabulous hotel 😊 We checked in and we’re offered room upgrades cannot remember the name of the chap who checked both rooms in but he convinced us to take the interconnecting rooms and we were delighted! We had fabulous views of the pools, the beach, across to Las Americas and up towards Siam Park. All the staff were helpful and friendly, the hotel was kept spotlessly clean - we had to wear our masks in all communal areas but this was not a problem as they were just trying to keep everyone as safe as possible. Plenty of hand sanitisers throughout the hotel. Food was of a good standard for all inclusive as were the drinks! Strawberry daiquiris were delicious! Cannot comment on the entertainment as we didn’t see any of it as that’s not really our thing. Never had an issue with getting 4 sun beds around the pool at any time during the day. Overall thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning in the near future.

My sister and I stayed here for 4 nights. The entertainment team was perfect. They had nice plans for everyone during day time and at night. The staff were super friendly. The bar drinks and cocktails was fabulous. Food was delicious and of big variety. The rooms were comfortable. I would say no room has full sea view due to the way the hotel is orientated, but most have partial view of the sea. I did not get the point of the stage/ statue in the middle of the main pool 😂 It wasn’t used for anything and it would be great to have that space added to the pool. The only thing I didn’t like was the access to the beach which was from outside of the hotel 😔 and the hotel didn’t have a specific space for its beds at the beach so you had to rent beds or take your towels to the beach. All together a good experience ✅

Room Tip: Take a tiny safe box / bag with you to use at the beach. Don’t pay for the safe box in the room...

We’ve just spent 2 weeks here as a family of four. Overall we have had an excellent holiday and would stay here again. The hotel was very clean and tidy. The food choice was varied and of excellent quality. The staff all worked very hard, especially the entertainment team. My only comment would be that the star camp room needs to be air conditioned. Most evenings it was too hot for our children.

Stayed 8 nights with all inclusive as a group of 4 adults. Overall, was happy with our stay- the hotel was clean and majority of the staff were really friendly. All inclusive was great value for money, they had premium spirits (and definitely weren't shy about the measures) and we felt that we got our moneys worth. The food was great each night too at dinner, different food everyday and lots of fresh shellfish etc! Entertainment staff also couldn't be faulted- high energy, entertaining and put on the greatest show which we loved. I've given our stay 4 stars as we did enjoy ourselves, however, there were some points that were a bit annoying and did overshadow our stay ever so slightly. Something I hadn't seen mentioned before arriving and also wasn't told to us during check-in was that men have to wear long trousers to dinner which seems such an archaic rule to have in 2021! Completely understand if men were wearing swim shorts / sports shorts etc and looked scruffy but when you've got other people at dinner in JOGGERS!!! and then men dressed in smart chino shorts being turned away, it seems to defeat the purpose of enforcing a trouser rule (assuming that it's for men to look 'smart'?). It put a but if a dampener on the first night as the two men in our group had to borrow some from the hotel and is something that should be reviewed in my eyes. Music round the pool was very hit and miss; either mind numbing house music that no one seemed to be enjoying or some golden oldie classics.. on repeat. Beds are also two singles (on wheels) pushed together- however they don't have a topper like hotels usually do, so was like sleeping in a separate bed every night from the other half (even got your own sheet / duvet lol). Location was good- short walk to the beach, lots of restaurants, bars and even the strip in easy walking distance too. Mask rules are strict (no issue here, felt very safe) and if you're a smoker, you either have to smoke on your balcony or outside the hotel. Be prepared to pay a deposit for most things you'll need.. towels (10euro each), safe (3 euro a day) and iron (20euro for an hour)- no dramas as you get it back, just need to have cash on you to take out in the first place. I would probably stay again now I know what to expect, but as someone who likes to read reviews and be well informed before I stay somewhere I couldn't see any of these points mentioned above.
