2 years ago we visited the hotel with our daughter. It was a great overall experience and we’ve booked a 2nd visit. But there will not be a 3rd one! When you pay over 400 Euro a night, and 200 for meals, you sure expect certain things to happen. Especially when the hotel is a part of the “leading hotels” group. You don’t expect to find that all seats near the pools are “reserved” by people showing up early in the morning and then showing up few hours later. Maybe in mega 3 start resorts but not in 5 start ones. You don’t expect a very expensive sea view room to have a partial view that you could see standing up from above the tree blocking the view. You don’t expect people playing loud music from portable loud speakers and no one from the hotel doing anything about it. I had to confront a large group of tattooed individuals who couldn’t care less about my request If your child spills a drink which is a part of an expensive dinner you expect it to be replaced without an extra charge. In the end this type of hotels charging these type of fees should strive to exceed your expectations. In this case they didn’t even met them. And sorry the “we can offer you a room with real sea view” in the middle of our stay is not going to make a difference.

We stayed in this hotel in one of their villas for 3 nights as our flight home changed and we thought we would stay here for a change. We stayed in a villa which is within the resort but in a seperate area which has a fabulous pool, a gorgeous terrace for breakfast and lunch and a michelen star restaurant called NUB which is a tasting menu restaurant and all of it was fabulous. The food was amazing with first class service which was certainly 5 star. Nerea looked after us in the main reception area and the terrace restaurant and she was so personable and professional. She is a true asset to the hotel and by the day we left we felt like we had been coming to the hotel for years which is always a good sign. All of the staff on the terrace were so pleasant, professional and a joy to be around. The Nub restaurant was fabulous and the nicenst tasting menu that we have ever had. The terrace is the perfect setting for a glass of Tattinger before dinner and this was complimentary until late in the evening. This hotel has been a true find and we will certainly be returning as soon as we can. Thank you to all of the staff who looked after us so well. It was a joy! As you get older memories are better than dreams and we certainly have a fabulous memory! Lady Julie Forster-White Northumberland

We stayed end of June 2021 when the hotel was not yet full. Lovely experience and very special people working three. The service was excellent in the pool, cleaning and restaurants. Spa is great though overpriced aa expected. Restaurants have a very wide offer and you never get tired of same places. Rooms have all you need and are comfortable, standard rooms are a bit small compared to other hotels of same quality. Beach is just in front of the hotel so you can switch easily from pool to sea.

We were there in March 2021, when most of the facility was actually empty. Therefore there was just one restaurant per day open which gave us no real big option. The restaurant NUB was excellent. All other restaurants were ok. Service was ok as well, our villa was spacious and clean.

Stayed at the hotel in late May 2021. It seemed there are very little guests around. Which worked for me - it was quiet, staff was attentive & accommodating. I'd say main selling point of the hotel is the property itself. It feels like an rustic spanish village (in a good way). With a clock tower. Hotel operates as a closed community, which adds to the feeling of security (there are security guards at the entrances). Majority of the restaurants was closed during my stay. They had this rotating system in place where every day 2 major restaurants are open. I guess that's understandable due to COVID. Plenty of choices at breakfast. Staff working at breakfast restaurant is very polite & helpful. I liked the pool area(s). Nice designs with rocks etc. Animals live on the property - ducks and swans (well, not sure what they were) freely roam the property. They are cute. But... rooms (while they are clean and tidy) are outdated. Here and there you can see wera & tear in the room, on the furniture, tiles, doors. I can say that for my room.
