Located in a business center and surrounded by traffic and old wooden houses, this hotel yet has some interesting offers. First, the prices are reasonable (comparing to other hotels). Second, it is a real hotel and you won't find here youngsters who come for a couple of hours to scream and moan next door. Third, the cafe and the restaurant...

Very nice hotel, the staff are great, and will help out any way they can. The buffet breakfast was very good, there were refills on coffee (which is not always the case in Russia) The coffee shop on the 2nd floor is a gem, wonderful place to relax and have a good cup of coffee, or have a full meal....

We arrived by train very after 11:30 pm, and were pleased that the staff were efficient, and spoke English. My key did not work and locks do not appear real secure, so be aware of that. Checking was quick. Room was very clean and comfortable with an awesome view. The bath had warming towel bars. Besides a nice touch, Perfect...

Stayed in this hotel two times this year in different rooms - in the luxe and in a single standard. Each room was great. New furniture, clean, well-maintained, spacious, great view. All the necessary facilities are available. The public areas are also very spacious and well-maintained. Great panoramic restaurant on the 14th floor serving excellent breakfast in the mornings. The...

We were greeted by a pleasant and welcoming staff after an all-nighter from Moscow. The spacious room was ready. The staff helped us using English. The only negative is that this once luxury hotel is being let to run down. It is still a solid 3+ but is rapidly losing status because the carpets are not properly cleanse and stretched....

We were supposed to be booked into this hotel but only 4 of our party got rooms. Rest of us were shunted into a terrible place next door, poor rooms and dreadful breakfast. Don't know whether out tour leader knew in advance. Those who stayed at the Saagan reported nice rooms but no airconditioing in the hot August weather. We...

We stayed in a c 40 sq m suite in late August 2013 (6000 rubles/night) for a week on a family visit. Plus points: large rooms compared with the suites at the Baikal Plaza, fast and free Internet without the pesky authorisation systems that many large hotels have, no limits on number of devices, about 5mbps up and down off...

This is a lovely modern hotel whose cool air-conditioned lobby was quite welcoming on a hot, dusty July day. Much to our surprise and amazement, we found that the rooms are not air-conditioned although the lobby, hallways and restaurant are. it is the middle of July and hot outside. Doesn't make sense for a recently built hotel.

Nice modern hotel in the city center. Upscale restaurant on the top floor. Nice room, good breakfast, good internet. The most interesting part of being at the hotel is that a week later, we had trouble remembering the particulars. That is NOT a negative, just a fact. Also, Roadrunner, our email system was somehow blocked by the local internet provider...
