Having just returned from a 7 night break at these apartments, we felt compelled to review this place, we arrived and after checking in we were given our room key, with excitement we opened the door to 114 only to be overwhelmed by a very damp and nasty aroma coming from the bathroom, mouldy silicon around the shower enclosure, shower mixer tap loose on the wall and constantly dripping and a clump of hair hanging from the shower hose, moving onto the room we had flaking paint at the bottom of the wall which was hidden behind a small sofa, bed head light was very loose on the wall, some of the cutlery still had old food still on them and the tv kept freezing , kitchen cabinet door and unit were both loose and in need of replacement. We addressed the above with the reception and unfortunately had to stay in that room until another could be be allocated. The next morning we met with another person from reception and we’re shown 2 alternatives of which we chose room 120 ,still very dated but no smelly bathroom, the tv was a postage stamp size but it had a ceiling fan which perhaps was better than nothing because the room was so warm especially at night and that was with the sliding door onto the ground floor balcony open every night and it wasn’t a quiet place at night with vehicles and passerbys making their way home, all said and done the reception staff were very pleasant but in reality the rooms need a complete refurbishment . We stayed in the deluxe studio in this apartment complex. The service was outstanding. Room was cleaned every 2nd day with towel changes. The staff were so lovely and friendly. Hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the main strip. Pool is clean and not too cold but not warm either just right. Great selection of food and drink at the pool bar! They have a happy hour from 1-3! Overall its a lovely place to stay and I would recommend to everybody! If I go back to Puerto Del Carmen I know where I am booking to stay again! ☺️

Stayed for 5 nights, rooms are the 2 star rated, basic although clean & well equipped for self catering. Bathroom needs updating, had a pool view room which was lovely, room was very warm & stuffy all the time, no air con or ceiling fan which some rooms had. Quite uncomfortable for sleeping. Pool area was fab plenty of space & sun beds , snack bar providing good food & drinks at a reasonable price. Lovely outdoor space. Location central to main strip although down lots of steps or cardiac hill, old town much nicer & a gentle stroll away. Reception area friendly. I guess you get what you pay for, overall a lovely complex but could be so much better with updated rooms & bathroom & air con a must even if at an extra cost! Had an enjoyable & relaxing holiday but doubt would return.

We stayed for 10 days and we can’t fault the service of this small complex. We had a pool view room, very spacious room with all you need for self catering. The hotel staff are loverly and very helpful with any questions or request we had. The pool is ideal and lots of sun beds to go around at all times of day. The pool bar is run by a couple who are loverly. The food is delicious, cocktails are perfect and very reasonably priced. Definitely recommend the ice coffee, they are amazing we lived off these during our stay! The complex isn’t far from the main strip or old town, with lots of small tourist shops nearby, there is also a few supermarkets close for the basics. We ventured to one of the smaller beaches, Playa Chica which is about a 10 minute walk. It’s a perfect little beach and the best place for snorkelling, 100’s of fish in the little cove. Just up from there is a small restaurant/bar which is perfect for watching the sun set over the volcanos. We would definitely recommend this hotel and visit again!

Cheap and cheerful. Rooms were a tad worn and in need of upgrading perhaps but they still have everything you need - (except air con)- it was hot but still managed to sleep at night. Excellent location (Up the hill a bit though) - 5 mins walk to Spar, 10 mins to old town and 5 mins to the strip. "Cardiac hill" not as bad as i remember. Tip - take the lift to the parking 2 level from the new Soco supermarket complex the near the end of the strip and this wipes out half the height you need to ascend... Clever... Excellent staff. Expecially I-Inaria on reception who was very helpful at all times. Pool area very good, never too busy albeit it could benefit from a few more parasols. Being adults only, was refreshing to not have lots of noisy kids at the pool area. Food decent at the on site pool bar. Biggest gripe - was from noise outside our street facing apartment - a noisy manhole cover and inconsiderate neighbours across the street. If staying again, I would probably pay a premium for a pool view as i suspect that will experience far less noise. All in all, excellent value for money. Wouldn't hesitate to return.

Peaceful, quiet adult only small complex in prime location of Puerto Del Carmen. Good points.. We had a large deluxe room with pool view, terrace, very comfy large bed, built in wardrobes and cupboards, kitchenette, ceiling fan and bathroom. Clean, pleasant pool area with plenty of loungers, lovely snack bar and seating area in little restaurant. The staff make you feel very welcome, reception friendly, helpful and knowledgeable with any query you may have. Bad points.. bathroom in room needs full replacement as dated with signs of mildew/limescale. Ceiling fan hardly effective, looks old and we had a few very hot days so had to hire extra standing fan from reception. No air-conditioning 😰 Locks and handles on inner room doors damaged or looks like a quick fix has been attempted. More parasols required at pool area, some look very well worn and not enough to go round. With the above points addressed these apartments could be a 5 * review easily, still we had a lovely holiday all round.

Second time we have stayed at the Panorama Apartments. First time we had a garden view room. This time we were given a very small room that had a small terrace outside. It was like a prison cell. It was definitely not a room with a view. If given this room again I would not stay. Room Number 100. We had to ask three times for the room to be cleaned, for the bedding to be changed, for clean towels and to have the rubbish removed. Other people seemed to have their rooms cleaned every day and everyone we spoke to had clean sheets after 2 or 3 days. Our bedding was eventually changed after 8 days. We ended up taking the rubbish out to some bins on the street nearby. Good points are that it's adults only. The pool area and the pool itself are lovely. We ate in the small restaurant several times and the food was of a very good standard. The apartments are in need of a refurb. I would stay again but only after a refurb.

This was a quick overnight trip to view some apartments up for sale. As it was just me, I only needed somewhere to dump my stuff and get a night's sleep. Have been coming to Lanzarote, usually Peurto Del Carmen, and have stayed in many hotels and apartments. This hotel, for me, doesn't rank at the top if my list. What lets it down for me. Tge room I was in with pool view, was a reasonable size but had some issues. Light is bathroom didn't work, bath was a bit manky, shower head would stay in a horizontal position, so having a shower was tricky. But the main thing, after coming in the evening I was there, there were 2 of the biggest cockroaches I have ever seen in any accommodation, in the room. In fact it's the only accommodation in Lanzarote. The amenities were all ok, staff were friendly, apart from the cleaner who strolled into my room at 9am. Asking if I was leaving, even though check out wasn't until 11am. When I said no, you tutted, rolled her eyes and went. Ok, I only stayed one night. But first impressions count.
