Had such a lovely time here, great staff who were both friendly and professional, almazing location, lovely pool, we had a quiet room with balcony and view of the sea and with everything you could need including coffee maker. Spotless and amazing value. Just loved it and had such a nice holiday. Wanted to stay longer, thank you all so much.

Good location. Good pool for kids. Breakfast each morning in the bar was fab and good price. Only downfall was the noise of a long term resident at night banging. This would stop me returning. Staff were friendly and so close to the strip and the shopping centre.

We stayed here during Christmas & New Year 2021/22, location of the hotel is excellent and very close to the old town & the new town. So very easy for getting around. Apartments could do with being updated, though in saying that they were basic but nothing wrong with them. We stayed in one close to the Drunken Monkey, so if your not staying out at night there would be noise. This didn't bother us as we were out late. There was quite a lot of noise early in the mornings with traffic, so if booking again i'd prefer one looking out on the pool area. Apartments were clean and towels were changed regularly. Staff and reception very good. Great spot for a budget trip and well located.

Staying here at the moment. Basic but clean. Cleaning staff come every 2nd day to make beds and leave clean towels only. Never mopping or brushed floor's. Very noisy with on going works which starts at 10 am so if your looking for a peaceful holiday forget it. If I had known that there was work ongoing I wood not have booked. Saw man Cleaning the large pool area using the same 1 bucket of water to clean a very large area. Bar closes at 6pm. I won't be back

Just back from a week staying at Aparthotel Costa Volcan & Spa. Greeted by pleasant and helpful reception on arrival. Had large ice cold beers before venturing out (euro 2.50 each). Great location, only minutes walk from the strip in one direction, and not much further to the old town in the opposite direction. We had room 215 (or 216....not sure now) which faces a bar, but never really noticed much noise. Kitchenette was fine, with small hob, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and fridge. Towels changed and beds made every other day. Clean bright living area, with tiny television, but then we didn't take the holiday to watch telly. Mini-market on ground floor near reception (pay for items at reception). very clean pool area. Really can't complain for what we paid, and would happily stay again in the future if visiting PDC.

Back from a week at the Costa Volcan. The apartment was basic but clean. The kitchen area had only one socket so after using one appliance like the kettle you had to plug out to use the toaster , microwave etc. ! The noise from the nearby bars can be heard at night, even though we were on the " Quite" side of the building. If you're a light sleeper , this can be a problem and when you do get to sleep the cleaning ladies will surely wake you, early in the morning , wheeling their trollies and talking and sometimes shouting at each other. ! On the plus side , it's convenient to both the old town and main strip, but not on the flat as other reviews have stated.

We booked for 4 nights , thank goodness it wasn’t more. We had a sea view , just . Room 404 At the back of the hotel was a bar that has music playing until gone 11pm from about midday and there is no way of blocking it as there’s a slight gap under the entrance door. Not sure if this would meet fire regs in the UK. If your one for a late night you’ll be fine The rooms were otherwise nice enough and clean . But whether you open the bedroom window or terrace you’ll get some traffic noise. There is a normal sized fridge , microwave and 2 hobs and basic equipment, some had seen better days . Tv had one English Channel, bbc world news and you have to put €10 deposit on the remote that staff don’t tell you and no info anywhere to tell you either. We guessed The information leaflet gives limited info about the hotel . Bar and pool area are small and pleasant. Bar only open until 6pm but reasonably priced . Does snacks in the daytime. No bar in the hotel at night There are 2 lifts but one has signs in Spanish ( it is Spain so not a problem) that give impression it isn’t for general use. We had one almost full day when the other lift didn’t work but not temporary notices . Please note the general lift is glass and on outside of the building. Not to the anxious lift hater . The accommodation is on a hill to get to anywhere and to get to the nearest which is the noisy bar at the back of the hotel there are + 30 steep steps. Over the road at the back is the big shopping centre with a spar supermarket for food , McDonalds , designer shops and a few other food outlets. It’s about a 10 minutes walk to the start of the main strip but at the back of the hotel and down the hill are some lovely places to eat , plus around the harbour. Now to the staff! . The male reception staff were lovely and helpful. Bar staff and housekeeping great .The female manager was a different ball game. I appreciate running a hotel in a pandemic with covid was possibly hitting staff etc but she could have put on the hospitality false smile to customers instead of being miserable. Would I stay again ? No . Unless I had a upper pool view . The lower ones have terraces level with pool and very close. One plus , there were no signs saying don’t put loo roll in the toilet . This is common in the resort especially in the old town as sewage pipes block and flood .
