We have just come back from a 1 week stay at these apartments.
To start with the positive, the apartments are lovely and spacious with power showers, and if your lucky enough to get a upper floor apartment with a sea view you won’t be disappointed.
Sadly that’s where the positives end. We certainly aren’t picky eaters at all however there choice is very limited, we went all inclusive and ate out 6 of the 7 nights! The food wasn’t hot either, albeit there is a microwave on the restaurant, you wouldn’t really expect to be heating your food up straight from a hot plate.
House keeping, you do get fresh towels daily apart from a wed and fri (as there is no housekeeping on these days)
Don’t expect the standards to be high when your room is cleaned, our room had been missed so we asked reception to send some one in, we sat on the balcony to give them some space o kid you might 3 minutes in total they were in!
However we didn’t let this dampen our holiday, we used it as a base to put our heads down for the night.
There is plenty of lovely restaurants along the seafront to try.
It’s well worth hiring a car to get yourself around the island and it costs very little to do this.

Third stay at the Morromar and we returned somewhat disappointed. Comparing to the first visit you'd think we stayed at a different hotel.
So here's what's changed. The food. It seems like the hotel is cutting costs there as it was not of the same quality. First half of the week we struggled to find anything to eat thankfully it improved a bit towards the end. One night the choice was pork, chicken drumsticks or fish and we decided to eat out. The Italian night is a disaster the pizza is barely edible and all you have is different types of pastas. Nice and cheap. First time we stayed burgers only appeared once during the week but this time 4. If only they were nice.. Fries soggy with oil, they could at least provide some gravy to soak them up with. Most veg frozen not fresh and salads.. Majority of the salad bar came out of tin or jar. If you don't mind eating carbs like bread, pasta and rice for every meal of the day then you'd not go hungry. Also the variety of poolside snacks also seem to be cut down on. Others eating healthier unprocessed food will struggle.
Sunbeds. Most of them collapse underneath you.
I don't know why but our apartment had walls full of paint patches? Definitely recent addition to the decor. We could not take any photos inside to send to family and fiends as it was just embarrassing.
The only positives was the location of our room. So peaceful and quiet. The towel rental service at 1euro per day 15euro deposit was reasonable. And also the bathroom nicely renovated since last year.
Such a pity as we live the location and this hotel has such potential.

Just a short transfer from the airport to (compared to other studios/apartments we have been to) this spacious one bedroom apartment. Nice big balcony that got the sun in the afternoon and was not overlooked. We went all inclusive, but we soon agreed that with the kitchen furnished as it was, we could easily have done self catering.
In the little broom cupboard with a mop and bucket, there was a boiler, so there was always plenty of hot water. We found all staff very amicable and helpful. The complex itself has several steep little climbs which could be difficult for a wheelchair user or a person with considerable walking difficulties. A walk down to the sea took about 10 mins and involved several steps and slopes. Not really a problem for anyone of average fitness, but....
In the restaurant we always found something to suit our taste and, based on previous all inc. holidays, we found the food varied, although breakfast was a bit predictable! But still, you could have a full English or a continental or cereal. Sometimes the food could have been warmer, but we find that the continentals never eat their food as hot as we Brits do!
Overall, I would recommend the Morromar to my friends and family and would certainly return again.

Check in very professional and quick given quick info and a map to find room .We visited reception many times with questions they were approachable polite professional and welcoming on every visit.
The complex is spotless nothing is out of place immaculate grounds and every member of staff you passed spoke to you in acknowledgement . All staff were so professional and friendly
Rooms we had a one bedroom apartment with partial sea view, huge private balcony spacious lounge kitchen yes with kettle and twin beds pushed together with a large blanket. The apartment was spotless.the beds were very comfortable and the whole complex is so tranquil at night we were awoken by the rain hitting the window. TV yes tick channels UK no but great Spanish TV . WiFi free only in reception 18 euro charge in room for two devises for a week, it was faster that being at home and worth every penny .
Sunbeds by both pools each day and one pool I would call slightly heated once you got used to the cold .
Now negatives the food the choice is limited but the hotel do the best with the budget, we paid very little for half board so didn't have high expectations it met them nothing more but we never went hungry .(I am celiac) the chef came out every night and informed me what I could eat, even offered to cook me something else so If I couldn't find anything I wanted so hence why review is five stars .
Overall yes rooms are a little worn but the location is excellent , everything is walkable or a four euro taxi ride away, hotel is professional welcoming and has a fantastic team that make you relax. For the price we paid it was an excellent holiday peaceful location (expect a little aircraft noise) with professional staff

Staff were lovely and polite always busy ,entertainment team were brilliant.Hotel is close to beach,bars and restaurants.
Negatives our sheets were not changed the entire 10 nights we stayed ( I know as we had holes in the sheets),the room was not cleaned did it myself,our room location had a nickname of tornado alley as it was very windy! Food was ok I suppose you get what you pay for!a few families we spoke to were not impressed with food,The courtesy room was very dirty, clean towels,sink full of white cream,toilet blocked informed reception and their response was you could have told us ( we had an hour for 5 of us to get changed!).I would not make a return visit.

Didn't know what to expect as seen a few bad reviews.
I came away on my own and was told it was a safe resort so booked.
I can't have asked for a better place to stay.
I had a studio apartment which was lovely and clean. Sea view room 629
Meals were fine I found them hot and plenty to choose from,
staff were friendly especially the little older guy on the pool bar.
The young woman who served wasn't as friendly but think she didn't understand much English.
I was all inclusive so didn't need to eat out of resort.
But just a short stroll down the road was a small shopping with plenty places to eat. Bike hire and spar shop.
Room had kettle iron and ironing board mop and bucket
Rooms were cleaned all but Wednesday when I stayed there and cleaning staff worked hard and were pleasant
The animation team were really friendly, they tried to involve everyone. Well done Conall and Manu they made my stay entertaining. Can't ask for anything better. Unsure what people want if they want 5star they should have gone elsewhere.
I enjoyed myself made some nice friends and definitely would return.
Bottom pool heated a bit warmer than the sea.

We stayed here for a cheapish family break for my partners birthday as we try to go to lanzarote most years for either of our birthdays. This holiday just wasn’t very special as we found the staff at this hotel are extremely rude, especially the front reception staff. The hotel is very clean but would recommend this accommodation for older guests as there is very little going on. Other than the swimming pool they had literally nothing to do as the animation team are non existent. We found the swimming pool with the bridge the only pool we could use as the big pool by the bar was ice cold and a little dangerous for children as it has a sort of moat around it for drainage. The bridge pool is however heated but it’s so quiet and a bit of a walk to the bar or a toilet which was a pain during the day.
We originally booked to stay self catering but after reading the reviews we decided to upgrade to all inclusive which I really feel was a mistake food was edible but was not worth the extra charge I wish I had saved the money to eat out as the reviews certainly told a different story to what was actually served up.
The hotel offers clean towels and rooms are cleaned 5 times a week so be prepared to go and get your own towels on certain days.
Our biggest problem with this hotel is on our last day we had to check out at 12pm for our flight which was at 19:00 but we was told we could not use a courtesy room or pay to keep our room the extra couple of hours.
The hotel is a short walk from a little quadrant of shops bars and restaurants but we found it much better to pay €5 to get a taxi into puerto del carmen where there’s a lot more life and people seem to be friendlier.
Overall this was a cheap and cheerful holiday but would not return to this hotel as we felt very unwelcome. Staff need some customer service training.

Stayed at these apartments all inclusive 4 nights for my friends hen party, was 7of us and wee had a great time, our room was fab spacious, well cleaned, beds very comfy, we had an upstairs apartment and nice view of the sea,, the staff were friendly worked very hard, I found the food delicious, great selection at breakfast lunch and dinner, lots salads seafood pasta, meats, desserts also the snack bar 12 to 1 is worth it, tortillas with yummy sauce, pizza and hotdogs we wer all inclusive which was fab 😋 drinks selection was great and we certainly loved our cocktails
Location was grand in lovely area quiet very close to the airport, wouldn't worry about private transfer, costs nothing to get to morromar ,, only cost 5euro in taxi to head into main Puerto del carmen strip, nice selection of bars shops and restaurants there . The entertainment on at the hotel was good too,bit quieter this time of year tho they really try to involve kids and adults alike with a different theme every night, music, quiz, karaoke,. We had a great winter break away weather was lovely around 20oc beats the cold back home. This was my first time in lanzorote and would def return and yes I would come back to morramar apartments, and def all inclusive again really well worth it 😊
Location was grand in lovely area quiet very close to the airport, wouldn't worry about private transfer, costs nothing to get to morromar ,, only cost 5euro in taxi to head into main Puerto del carmen strip, nice selection of bars shops and restaurants there . The entertainment on at the hotel was good too,bit quieter this time of year tho they really try to involve kids and adults alike with a different theme every night, music, quiz, karaoke,. We had a great winter break away weather was lovely around 20oc beats the cold back home. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the morromar.
Pool areas always cleaned each morning and although it says you can’t reserve sun beds, people still do. There’s 2 pools one with the pool side snack bar and the other doesn’t have anything. It is missing a pool side bar or at least a self serve soft drink machine as you have to go through bar area wet if you want one and as you are limited to 2 drinks per person, as a family of 4 with 2 young children we found this a real inconvenience as we had to either go twice or all visit the bar as we couldn’t leave the kids.
Food was ok themed nights was the better nights of them all. I found the deserts a little poor and not much food catered towards children it would be good to have a smaller selection for kids ie pizza nuggets etc.
Location was good you are only a small walk away from a shopping centre that had lots of lovely bars and restaurants to eat in too, the beach is only 10/15 mins walk and puerto del carmen either a 10 mins bus or taxi ride away (taxi between 5/7 euros depending how far in carmen you are) transfer from airport was literally 5 mins in a taxi. We used the scooters available of the street a lot they were fun.
Staff were all lovely and pleasant we had a problem with ants which was sorted and a noisy apartment near us too but reception sorted out.
We visited Texas rancho park which was fab too.
Must wear a mask on all transports and they literally won’t take you without so always carry one.

The hotel is being returned but the main areas are very grubby. The restaurent is like a school canteen. Food not fantastic always Luke warm. One micro wave for all guests. The food is not replenished quickly. Our apartment again very used. Please be aware no heating in apartments it is very cold in the winter months, when I asked for solution they gave us a blanket not ideal to sit in main room to watch a little tv. The bar has lots of drink and had no problem staff very accommodating. The animation is terrible they play music around the large pool for themselves when I asked for more appropriate music they did for maybe one cd then back to boom boom. The average age was over 50s. The actual entertainment was appalling it was just audience participation all to save money. We did have one entertainer singer she was very good. The reception ok. The jet2 rep we had no welcome meeting the rep called 3 to 4 times a week. I did go to speak to him regarding the none heat in rooms and our suitcase being damaged beyond repair. He did get us the ok to buy suitcase and we would get a refund for cost. I would not return to this hotel. It is a cheap and cheerless place not for us. I did speak to a few french guests who couldn't believe how dirty the rooms are.
I know it have had you make of an holiday however the coldvrooms and cleanliness is essentional. They have a roof terrace for sun bathing it is large cat toilet it was left filthy cat fesies every where. You do have the choice of 2 pool areas. We bathed at the heated pool because we had no animation in this area. It was more peaceful. If the rooms and all public areas are returned and thoroughly cleaned I would say it would be nearer to the 3 stars they say it is.

There’s 2 pools one by the main bar area and a quite pool, don’t know what number but one block faces the sea by the quite pool mayb if you go through pics you’ll be able to see the block by the quite pool it has the bridge in the middle hope this helps 🤩
I wouldn’t of thought so mayb pack something in your luggage, restaurant closes at 10pm and so do the nearby shops 🤩
