Just got back from a week at Gloria Izaro and would highly recommend this hotel. We stayed B&B and can’t fault the food….even Prosecco included at breakfast! The hotel is at the top of a hill with plenty of restaurants and bars along the way (I can not recommend the steak from the VU enough!!). As it’s at the top of the hill the views are amazing…it’s definitely worth emailing the hotel to ask for a room on the top floor (we were 536). Lots of steps but totally worth it…never seen a balcony so big…even had sun loungers! Rooms spacious, very clean and air con was a bonus. Shower rooms were closed due to covid so on our last day we asked if we could have a late check out. Although our room was taken we were given another room free of charge right until our transfer came to pick us up which was great! Pool area is large, plenty of beds spread about. When we arrived we were told you couldn’t reserve beds with towels however everyone done this! But we spent all our time at the beach anyway. It’s about a 5 min walk to the bars and restaurants at the Old Town, 10 mins to Playa Chica beach and 15 mins to the main strip. Would definitely return to this hotel.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in late August. This was our 2nd visit to Gloria either side of the pandemic. Rooms spacious clean and tidy we was at the back with the great view's but be prepared for stairs as there are no lifts. We had a problem with a leak from the Air conditioning but after informing the receptionist it was fixed in no time . All the staff right through the hotel work so hard to ensure the guests have the best possible holiday. Possibly returning next summer just hope there is some entertainment day and night on offer as in the evenings it was rather quiet (Possibly due to Covid restrictions) Overall would recommend 👍

Having never been to this hotel before as like everyone your wondering what it is like. It is beautiful on arrival staff were very welcoming in reception gave us our pack and also had some izaro masks included which I think was a lovely gesture. When we arrived to our room for a party of 5 the room was very clean and spacious included was a kettle, toaster, hair dryer, and air conditioning in living room very modern appearance with 3 balconies which I've never had before all of our party was impressed. Cleaners came nearly everyday to replace towels and make beds they were very pleasant too. Around the complex was very clean and there was always maintainable going around doing things keeping ontop of the complex , pool was a decent size mu 2 kids loved it !!! Plenty of sun loungers available as at the start it was very quiet but throughout our 10 day stay it got busier and busier which is good. All covid precautions were put in place and also we was b&b and before entering restaurant your temperature was taken. Food was lovely there was something for everyone with quiet a wide range selection. We also spoke to a member of staff as we commented on how beautiful the bar looked and she informed us during lockdown when hotel was closed they did a full revamp on it as before it was pretty run down and my god is beautiful with how the revamp has been undertaken!! Pictures will be uploaded with review, you deserve a massive pat on the back its so modern and very inviting!!! Pool bar had a limited food selection which we used numerous times and for the price the food was amazing and decent size meals and also the price of beverage was decent enough. Pool bar staff went above and beyond and was so pleasant. if you have mobility issues we noticed they have a ramp and also a seat which helps you get in/out the pool which I thought was fantastic and very accomdating for those who have difficulties. Outside of the hotel is a bit hilly but it's lanzarote after all and virtually everywhere is hills unless your on the strip which is flat. Close to Old Town 5 min walk super Dino near by which I knew about having previously been to lanzarote but different accommodation. Would i stay here again?? Without a doubt this hotel is awesome! Thank you gloria izaro club hotel from all of us who stayed in room 623 from the 23/7/21 till 2/8/21

Stayed there for three weeks in a difficult times in middle of the corona virus. There was a work on the backyard ALL the time with following noise and irritation. What saved ALL was the wonderful, helpful and polite staff. The hotel was supposed to close due to the situation so the last days was rather poor according food but all over i highly recommend

This really is a mixed bag hotel. PROS- Pleasant staff. Nice Room with Large Balcony. CONS- Unappetising Food. Freezing Cold Pool. Lacking in atmosphere. It’s clear that the food here is very much provided on a budget. Many of us escaped the canteen type food regularly as there are a few decent restaurants in the area. Would I return.. sadly No.
