Princesa Ico is a delightful little complex of just 16 one bedroom apartments and is just across the road from Club Oceano. All apartments benefit from a south facing sunny patio or balcony and a view overlooking the pool. The large balconies have table and chairs, which are ideal for outside dining. The solarium is spacious, clean and well supplied with sun loungers. Princesa Ico has become known for its tranquil setting. This is definitely a place for sun worshipers. Accommodation comprises of one double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a living room with open plan modern kitchen equipped with oven, grill, hob, refrigerator, kettle and toaster - all electric - and a small breakfast bar. The apartments are spotlessly clean and regular maid service is included; bathroom towels and linen are all supplied. All have safes. The apartments are suitable for two adults and a child up to 12 years old. Some of the apartments downstairs have double communicating doors suitable for larger families or friends.

Our flight was cancelled due to coronavirus, and this was out of our hands, therefore we had no option other than being unable to fly to Lanzarote and being unable stay in the apartment we had booked with Princesa Ico. Due to this, we politely asked the hotel for a refund as it was not our fault we couldn’t go on holiday and they refused. They are only interested in your money and nothing else. The staff and very rude, inconsiderate and overall ignorant. We are currently seeking legal advice as we would like our money back seen as we were not able to get there. If you don’t want your money being taken, and you having nothing being gained from it, then I HIGHLY recommend that you DO NOT book with these.

We actually refused to stay in the room, it felt dirty and grubby and was extremely dated and old fashioned. We managed to upgrade and stay in the Club Oceano for 3 nights of our stay, but lost our money on the rest of our stay and had to check out and pay for another Hotel. We booked this by accident, we actually thought we were booking the Club Oceano which is the sister hotel over the road. Not meaning to sound too harsh but the quality was like a 1980’s low end Blackpool hotel. The Club Oceano is a nice place, they really need to upgrade these apartments to the same standard.

Just finished a one week stay here. We have been visiting for many years at this time. Location is good for old town and the new. Staff lovely as always. Some upgrade is definitely needed at Princesa Ico. The only things that have changed in a number of years are the sun loungers last year and the sofas this year. Small complex and quiet which is good. Unfortunately our holiday this time spoiled by middle of the night noisy neighbours. VERY thin walls.... staff did speak to the culprits and there was an improvement that night. However back to the noise the next. This spoiled our holiday though not really the fault of Princesa Ico. To be honest, we will not return until there has been an upgrade. Have looked and for what we paid we could have got better accommodation. Or we could have paid less for similar.

We stayed 3 weeks in ICO. We had a warm welcome from the girls at the reception. They were very kindly. They had answers for all our questions. We stayed in app. No 44. It was for us the best place. We had a vieuw at the pool, the sun and the ocean. It was 300 m from the strip and beach. Three times a week the friendly girls came for cleaning the appartement. Compliments for all the employers. Everything was fantastic for us. Thank you all.

We have stayed at Princesa Ico twice, the apartments are self catering with the option to use facilities at Club Oceano Hotel which is just across the road, all staff are very friendly and helpful. The apartments are fantastic, very clean and well looked after. The pool area is well maintained and there is no issue at all getting a sun lounger no matter what time of day. The apartments are very well located and close to the main strip. Would highly recommend these apartments and can’t wait to return next year!!
