Hyde Park Lane emerges as a well-received hotel, where the amenities garner high praise for their variety and family-friendly offerings—from pristine pools to diverse dining options. While some guests find the value debatable, noting inconsistent pricing and experiences, the majority celebrate the hotel's comfortable, clean rooms. The serene location, close to beaches, is a highlight for many, despite a handful feeling it's a tad isolated. The atmosphere and service are generally hailed as welcoming, although a few visitors encountered repetitive entertainment and sporadic service hiccups.

This was our first family holiday booking as a package holiday with Jet2. We had been to the area before and love it but normally stay un a private rental on the harbour side of town.
From start to finish our experience was brilliant.
The complex is very clean and pretty and peaceful. There is a lovely restaurant which we paid for breakfast on 2 days of our stay which was only €22 for 2 adults and a child for a buffet style so there should be enough to suit most tastes. We didn't use the restaurant on an evening but from what I could see, the food and selection looked good. The pool bar is good, food such as sandwiches, burgers, salads and hot dogs and really good pizzas and a good price. Serves up until 5.30 I think before the restaurant opens for dinner.
The pool area was clean with 2 seperate pools. One is in the opposite side if the road to the main building and looked very quiet. The one we spent our time at was slightly busier but never had an issues fighting for sunbeds. There was a little bit entertainment during the day - aqua zumba and aquafit, bowls, sangria demo with lots of free sangaria. There is a kids club open certain days if the week with a ball pit, arts and crafts and Disney films and a mini disco in the little pool every day which the kids love. Always 3 winners and ice pops to go round. The entertainment bloke was funny.
There is no entertainment on an evening so this is ideal if you want a peaceful holiday.
There is a supermarket on site for basics - fresh bread, milk, water and beer and wine and then a Hiper Dino and local supermarket with fresh pastries a 10 minute walk away.
The beach is literally 10 minutes away with sunbeds to hire and can watch the planes coming in, sea lovely and warm. There is a lovely restaurant at the bottom of the little bank you walk down from the hotel called Las Avenidas. Food really good and also does takeaways if want to have a quiet night in the apartment.
We stayed in a 1 bed apartment. It was more that adequate for myself, husband and 5 year old daughter. Free WiFi and Bristol channels including ITV, BBC, Chanel 4 and access to YouTube and screen sharing from phone. The rooms was clean and the cleaners came every other day to change towels empty bins, provide toilet roll, clean apartment and change sheets. Lovely terrace looking out onto the gardens and could even see the sea through the buildings. The apartment did have air con and one day it was really cold when we came up from the pool but next day it wasn't but it was manageable with having the Lanzarote breeze! Showers really good. The settee in the living room doesn't turn into an bed but was single bed size when the cushions were taking off. One thing to note is if booking with Jet2, you may still be allocated a 1 bed apartment of have 2 adults and 2 kids (from speaking to someone round the pool) so would make sleeping arrangements a little difficult.
Reception staff and bar staff really helpful and friendly and we managed to pay €30 to get a late checkout which was upped from 12pm to 6pm.
All in all I had a brilliant stay and will definitely be back

Dear sir; since the last time you came we have improvised in our services. For example; our restaurant offers varied breakfast and dinner with high quality. On the other hand we dont have anymore the sun beds on the terrace but we still have plenty by the pool.

Stayed for a week of winter sunshine rooms and communal areas spotless and clean majority of staff pleasant couple of not so,ice on reception but unsure if this was due to language barriers. Complex it in a very quiet location about a 20-40 minute to walk to majority of eateries, either a matagora or puerto del carmen .
We would definitely use these apts again. We went on a room only basis I but had breakfast on our last day which was good value for money and plenty of hot and cold choices, we didn’t eat there on an evening.
One suggestion would be if you are intending to have a daily breakfast and haven’t pre booked if you book in advance for the duration of your stay on arrival they do a reduced price e.g €7 pay on day €5-6 if you book on checkin for you stay. It’s a good walk nearerest supermarket (there is not one on site)

We had a great stay here for Christmas and New year. The reception area and the grounds are done up lovely for Christmas.
It is really modern, well kept and very clean. All of the staff, from receptionists to cooks to cleaners are very friendly and always willing to help.
The rooms and the little patio area are really lovely. The pool area is quite big with plenty of sunbeds and very clean.
The breakfast buffet is very nice with plenty to choose from and there is a big dining area so never a problem getting a table to sit at, either indoors or out by the pool.
Good entertainment put on each day and evening. I would highly recommend The Hyde Park for families.
It's about a 15/20 minute walk to the main strip or 3-4 euro for a taxi which you can order at reception.
There spa there is lovely and really reasonably priced and the staff there are very helpful and accommodating.
The only reason I didn't give a 5 rating is because the bar service can be slow. This is not the staff members fault as they were constantly working hard, there just needs to be more staff working as it is quite busy. There are only 2 staff members working at the bar and they have to serve drinks and food as well as take orders from the tables and clean the tables.
Overall a really lovely stay, would highly recommend and definitely return.
Thank you to all of the staff at Hyde Park Lane, you do a really good job and always have a welcoming smile 😊😊

If you want a place that's a little bit out the way so you dont hear the planes when you sleep or the racket from the main strip, this is the place for you. The apartment itself has all the basic you could need to self cater or it's a short walk to the main strip for all the bars and restaurants (although we are fit and healthy so probably would seem longer to someone who isnt used to walking like we are). You can have breakfast and dinner here, we did not use these services. The pool bar is a bit expensive compared to the main strip, but I couldnt fault their service and if you want to have a drink while chilling in the sun a little bit extra to pay isnt that bad. If youre a cat lover then this is also the place for you. We basically gained two pets while here in the first 2 minutes; which we nicknamed Ralf and Felix for the week. Both very friendly and love salmon dreames (catisfactions they're called in lanzaroti), I know they have a feeding area but I'm a sucker for a cat and they quiet happily went off after a few treats, or after a while happily sat next to us purring in the sun. If you're not a fan they will happily go away if you kindly shoo them away.

Beautiful child friendly resort. Great kids entertainers. Lovely scenery. Reasonably priced bar and restaurant.
Nice clean apartments. Self catering equipment is limited however and we unfortunately were unable to use our cute little bbq on our patio.

Pools are nice and clean and the kids play area has some fun water features for the kids.

Morning Pilates or yoga in their peaceful gardens under the big shady tree and then a dip in the pool before an alcoholic slush 👌

Breakfast is worth the 5 euros as the food available is huge

They have a shop below reception which is handy for any essentials and reasonably priced

With 3 adults, a teen, two under 5s and a baby we all loved our holiday and can’t wait to return ⭐️

This is a well ran and laid out complex. Split into separate zones on both sides of the road, but with their own pools. We stayed across from the main zone and found it to be exactly as expected. The rooms are spacious and well fitted out with TV, internet, hairdryer and the basic kitchen items you need. Beach towels are issued on check in so no need to bring big bulky towels. The apartments are all single floor and would hold no problem for those with mobility issues, I’d imagine. A decent sized patio with table and chairs for each apartment.Rooms are given a once over every 2 days and there are numerous staff working around the grounds. The safe is easy to use and internet connections work well. Never ventured much into the main area but it has a bar and dining facilities, with a large pool, kids pool and play area. There is a small shop which holds the basics, but a bigger supermarket only 5 minutes away. In our complex there is a good pool and smaller kids pool. The life guard is there when the pool is open and they spray/ disinfect the sun beds when they are vacated. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. My one and only gripe is it’s a bit of a stroll into and back from the main town.

We had a fantastic week here. The location was perfect (5-10 min walk to beach and shops and restaurants), the bungalow was very clean and the staff were really friendly and helpful. We were so pleased with the accommodation and would recommend to anyone.

The pool is very cold but it soon warms up when you are in. People do put towels on beds which is forbidden but it doesn’t stop people. You do need to get to the pool early or late afternoon to get a lounger.

There is a kids club and David is so great with the kids.

The mini supermarket on site is such a bonus and has most essentials.

On the last day I did water zumba. There is always something going on, which is great!

We went self-catering but did have snacks at the bar and had a buffet breakfast one morning which was excellent and had a large variety of food.

We were not able to keep our room for late check-out however, we found the luggage storage room and showers in the spa, to be perfect for what we needed. If you can get a late checkout, it is 30 euros.

My only small gripes are that there were no bowls for cereal so we had to use a large mixing bowl and that we booked a 1 room bungalow for 2 adults and a 4 year old. The sofa was not a sofa bed and had to he slept on as is. My son didn’t want to sleep on it so he slept in our room but the beds were 2 singles pushed together so he keep sliding through the middle gap so my husband sacrificed his bed and slept on the sofa. The beds are firm but I like firm beds.

I would recommend low cost tours for any trips. They have lots of stands around and are cheaper than Jet2. We did a Grant Tour of the island and a ferry to Fuerteventura, both of which were great.

We ate out every night. Our two favourite restaurants were Tamasha (Indian) and Antica Trattoria Di Verona. The food at both was excellent. We didn’t have a bad meal anywhere.

We were 2 weeks in a 1 bedroom bungalow no 57 which was a little walk from reception. It was quiet and we slept well. Room was clean and spacious and plenty of room outside to sit outside . Our room had sun most of the day up to late at night, We were self catering so didn't use the restaurant but ate at the pool bar a few times which had a good variety. We went across to the quieter pool and went over to see the entertainment and the kids around the pool loved the dances and joined in. There is a few places to eat out near hotel and if you go further there is more about 15/ 20 minute walk away. WE enjoyed our holiday so much we are going back end of november. If you get to hotel late take water with you as the supermarket was shut when we went to it or if you go to the baggage room there is a vending machine there which we found on our return home. Padlock for locking suitcases up is a euro which you get back. We got cards from main reception for hotel pool towels at main pool , safety deposit key is free of charge.. Reception staff were helpful when we asked question especially the man which i can't remember his name. Thank you for a lovely holiday and can't wait till november holiday.

Came for 10 nights check in was a bit icy not a warm reception at all.Good points was grounds and pools was spotless , rooms was good big tv shower etc until you slide the kitchen doors open to reveal an 80s look very out dated cupboards which was a sham because the rest of the room was modern. Bad points we paid €60 euros for diner on New Year’s Eve it’s was awful lady waitresses was miserable 😖 food not good at all waste of money, our room last got cleaned on Wednesday totally missed ours on Friday yet cleaned both neighbours room hubby went to reception to ask what time the maid leave as our room had not been clean only to be told they go home at 4 no apology or anything again this was the icy receptionist asked what do you want we needed towels she said I will send so over which in fairness she did thinking she would tell the maid to come and clean our room the next day nope nothing again we had to chase another maid for loo roll to sum it all up our room didn’t get cleaned from Wednesday till the day we left on Sunday absolutely shocking don’t know how many trips me made to the bins with our rubbish . Won’t be back shop not open middle of nowhere it’s good if you have small kids or are pensioners and just want to relax but not for us . There was a brown stain on the bidet (god know what it was but got a good idea ) it was still there when we checked out , missing tiles in the shower
