A very comfortable stay in the most beautiful surroundings. Staff were friendly, food was plentiful and homely. Very comfortable rooms. Had a wonderful time playing bowls. Conference facilities were sufficient for our small group but would have been more comfortable with aircons.

We arrived to a warm welcome and was promptly served a light lunch, a lovely tea time treat and dinner was scrumptious. The rooms are very quaint and comfortable in beautiful lush surroundings. Fantastic visit, can't fault on anything.

We had a very pleasant and enjoyable long weekend at The Nest and we were welcomed and looked after by very friendly and engaging staff all of which hugely contribute to the hotel and the enjoyment of the stay . The meals were generally great and Sunday lunch exceptional. The location of the Nest, in the Central Drakensberg, is convenient... More

Was an amazing experience and impeccable service... from the time of arrival to all meals to the minute we sadly had to leave... will most certainly be back to enjoy the wonderful food and stunning view of the mountain. Hopefully longer next time

It was the first time we visited the Drakensberg area! We normally pass the "Berg"area via the N3 on our way to Durban! It was always one of our" Bucket list " wishes and we were not disappointed at all! What a wonderful experience!

I was overall impressed with the stay and I was thankful that the kitchen staff tried their best to accomodate my girlfriend who is Vegan. I would suggest that they look into catering for vegetarian and vegan customers as there is a big trend to people swaying in that direction.

We stayed there for 4 nights in a mountain facing room. The bedroom is a bit dated and could do with an upgrade. The bathroom was very nice and newly renovated. The first night we hardly slept (seriously) as the mosquito's were buzzing around us all the time. Management did give us Raid mosquito electric units the next day, without... More

Whilst the staff are all friendly and the food is very good. The accommodation itself is very poor and outdated - the bed was rock hard and the security guards ensured no sleep for either of us by shining the torches through our curtains and then placing a spotlight on the room resulting in it being similar to bright sunlight...
