I have stayed at the Communs du Manoir again for a week, maybe the 4th or 5th time now. Always very pleasant, clean and uncomplicated here. The place even has an outdoor pool now that I'm looking forward to use when I'm hopefully back in summer!

I spend 1 month at Les Communs du Manoir for work. I had a great time there and Aimery and his family were absolutely incredibly helpful and nice to me. The house was clean, new and cozy, everything was really perfect. I decided to extend 1 week more my stay and spend some days with my family there as well. I really recommend this place to everyone as it is close to everything in Lyon and very peaceful when you need to rest. I’ll be back soon for sure.

This is not the first time we have stayed here as a family. We are very satisfied. Very kind, polite owners, very convenient location, Ecully center is 10 minutes walking, also there is a park nearby. The price is attractive. There is a kitchen and living room. You will not regret staying at this hotel!

I felt very fortunate to have the opportunity to stay at Les Communes du Manoir for a week during a recent visit to Lyon for the Women's World Cup Soccer Tournament. Lyon is a great city, but it was so crowded with people from all over the world who were there for the same reason I was. It was a relief to have the peace, beauty and countryside charm of Ecully to retire to at the end of a long day. The apartment is spacious and very clean, with a living room, full kitchen, large bathroom and upstairs bedroom. A "welcome kit" of juice, milk, yogurt, fruit and coffee pods awaits in the refrigerator, and croissants and bread are provided on the first morning. It is a short, pleasant walk to get to the village of Ecully, which has cafes and markets and a coin-operated laundry which I was happy to find after spending the prior weeks touring throughout Europe. I enjoyed my brief "living like a local" experience, and found my High School French -- even with my atrocious accent -- was useful at times. The owners are the nicest people - so thoughtful and considerate. They explained how to use public transportation to get into Lyon, and gave me a bus ticket to get me started. They even recommended taking an umbrella one afternoon as I set out for Lyon, and lent me one of their own. When it began raining at the end of the day, I was very glad to have it. Les Communs du Manoir is an exceptional place...so much so that I have been back several times. Each time the wonderful owners thought of some new service...buying me tickets for the local bus, tips for the best jogging routes, heating the apartment to the temperature that I like. So very thoughtful and caring. And the studio apartments are a real home from home. Comfortable and well designed. I recommend this place very highly. Please stay here!

Les Communs du Mannoir is a restful and tranquil location for a stay whilst in the vicinity of Llyon. Situated in the village of Ecully, in a large wooded and meadowed parkland, Les Communs has the charms of the country coupled with the amenities of a sophisticated and bourgeois centre almost on its doorstep. I use the accommodation regularly for business trips to Marcy L'Etoile. Very convenient location outside the center, yet close enough to all the necessary places. Good access by car from any direction, private parking on site. Incredibly quiet place in the neighborhood of family houses, modern but sensitively furnished apartments / rooms, where the feeling of ancient history remains. Everything is located in a beautiful garden and a large park. For this, an exceptionally helpfull and friendly approach of the owners, you can always arrange if you need different departure / arrival times and much more. I can recommend for business trips and holidays.

The welcome from the owners is genuinely warm - they are charming! As for the apartment, it’s truly lovely: you can tell there’s been great attention to every detail, and the space is eminently pleasant (the pictures don’t quite do it justice). My new #1 choice in Ecully from now on
