We were travelling back from the south of France and found this Chambre D'Hote on Tripadvisor, what a gem. The hosts Chris and Donna are very welcoming and hospitable. They have transformed the farm building into a charming home, which is more than comfortable. The bedrooms too are very comfortable. Both breakfast and dinner are excellent and together with the... After a long drive, the woodland walk at the back of the large enclosed garden was a doggie dream, especially being able to safely run in the company of Donna and Chris's dogs. The room was spacious and airy and the bed... More

This was my second visit to Le Moulin Pastelier and Chris and Donna were as welcoming as ever. My room was spacious, comfortable and newly decorated with great views of the garden and fields surrounding the house. I was lucky to be there when all the sunflowers in the surrounding fields were in full bloom which made for beautiful walks... More

This beautifully converted old woad mill is a delight. The bedrooms are very attractive and spacious, the decor delightful, the view glorious and the hospitality from Donna and Chris exceptional. We stayed for three nights and would have happily stayed longer. Donna cooked us dinner on the first night which was absolutely delicious. Chris is a generous host with the... More

Our family of 9 spent two nights including an exquisite evening meal and tasty breakfasts in this friendly, character-filled charming home environment hosted by Donna and Chris. The rooms are large and well-appointed, the view spectacular, and the central meeting area well-designed for gathering. The laughter and conversations were enlightening, the travel tips helpful, the wine superb and atmosphere welcoming... More
