I arrived here late on a Sunday night. The lady working here was expecting me and already knew my name despite it being my first visit. It was a cold night but my room had been warmed up with the radiators that had been switched on in advance. The kind lady took my dinner order on arrival so that it...

Visit the lutwidge a couple of times a month. Food is always good for quantity and quality. For those with a large appetite try the lut burger. The chicken madras is my personal favourite. Good family run business well worth a visit.

Pre-booked a table and pre-ordered our food as it was for nine people. All of the meals were promptly brought out together. We ordered a mix of main meals which some came with side dishes. I ordered steak and it was cooked as I had requested. The T bone steak was huge and the curries very generous in portions. All...

Called in for a meal tonight and was impressed with the Hotel. It is very clean and well finished! The food was 1st class, the portions huge, and served by a nice, smiling young woman! However, the only downside was the man who took our payment for our meal....he felt the need to comment on the amount of food we...

I enjoyed my recent one night stay at the hotel. Good meals, great lager, great wifi, good room. My wife thought that the bed cover could do with a wash, but that the only main criticism, overall a positive experience. The bed was comfy. The landlady (who had a remarkable work ethic) was friendly but the waitress was somewhat glum,...

I had Lamb Henry and my husband had a small hamburger, which was so big we couldn't eat it all. The lamb was tender and had a beautiful sauce and came with mashed, potatoes and lots of veggies. We also had a beer and a bottle of cider. The prices were good too. We both left food in our plates. Really...

We live a mile away from this wonderful hotel. It has been refurbished beautifully without losing the old charm. We took friends for an evening meal and were much impressed with the friendly atmosphere and the quality of the food. Would recommend it to all. Great menu.
