Driving in to Tom's place is a bit scary however once you are on the grounds it really pretty. The rooms are comfortable and exceptionally clean. The rooms are fitted with everything you would need. We were assisted by Johannes who was very kind to us. Breakfast is extremely basoc and limited but fresh. Rooms are very cold however there is a wood fireplace and aircon. If you book early you can request the fireplace to be on and ready by the time you arrive. Overall really good value for money. 👍👍👍…
We can recommend staying over at Tom's Place. All the comforts of home. We were met by a very friendly Johannes and felt very welcome. Rooms are very nice and we loved the feel of the old home. We didn't have a meal as we arrived a little late left early. Bed was comfortable. Will use them again. …
This B&B lived up to expectations. It is located in a nice quiet part of Harrismith close to shops and not far from the N5. Property is well secured with cameras monitoring the gates. Check-in at night was expeditious and staff were friendly. The 5-star self-catering unit was fully furnished with all amenities including a kitchenette, fireplace, a TV in each room and cosy lounge area. The bathroom was also spacious with a separate bath and shower and plenty of towels. Free wifi was very fast and the aircons alleviated the scorching heat in the area. Staff were readily available to attend to any concerns and queries asap. The only thing they could improve upon is to ensure that electric devices and multimedia devices(eg TV and remotes) are in working order prior to guests arrival.…
This B&B is always a favorite of mine when visiting Harrismith. There are two types of rooms a standard and luxury. The luxury rooms are more modern and independent of the main building with a self catering option of a fully furnished kitchen. The standard rooms are part of the original homes architecture and still retains the charm of the old style of high and beautifully decorated ceilings. The staff a warm and welcoming and will ensure a pleasant stay.…
Wow, I cannot fault this establishment. We stayed over a night on ourwedding anniversary weekend. The reception was open when we arrived late at night and was very friendly. The room was gorgeous with a four poster bed. There was a fully equiped kitchenette with a microwave, stove and oven and fridge. The bathroom had double sinks and a jet bath with amenities. Lovely braai facilities. This place will certainly see us again!…
