I booked my stay from I-site in Invercargill and had no idea what to expect. I got good map from there, so finding it was easy. What a lovely place! Breathtaking scenery, large modern room and peace and quiet. No road nearby to disturb. Slept like a baby.

4 of us recently stayed with Brian and Shona, it's a superbly relaxing home with great views and very helpful hosts even to the point of Brian giving helpful tips on new golf club websites. Should we ever pass this way again I'd stay at Hokonui without hesitation

This has to be the best B & B we have ever stayed in. Brian and Shona were superb hosts and gave us lots of suggestions on what to do and where to go. Having a game of snooker with Brian in the evening was real fun, he is pretty good so I wouldn't bet on beating him! The breakfast...

Friendly, great breakfast, toys for the children, slept very well. Great run. A bit outside Gore, which helped the views to get even better. If you're a family: don't miss out on dolamore park. Gore was surprising: world capital of Brown trout fishing and New Zealand's capital of country music. We'll come back.

Well appointed rooms all with ensuite. Bed & Breakfast stay with warm and welcoming hosts. Very reasonably priced - worth using as a base and exploring the surrounding country. Not far from Gore - worth eating in town before you book in though to save the few km trip back.

Retired farmers Shona and Brian share their large home in a wonderful rural setting only a couple of minutes from town. Glorious rural views and comfortable digs. My daughter and I shared the twin room - medium sized, free wifi, comfortable beds, spotlessly clean and rolling country views. Tea and coffee making facilities in room, private elegant bathroom right across...

First class B&B . Panoramic views from all rooms. Perfect hosts . We were made very welcome on our one night stop while touring the South Island. This B&B is only a few minutes from Gore where our hosts pointed us in the right direction to a lovely restaurant . A B&B not to be missed .
