for what is supposed to be a 24 hour hotel we arrived on the 29/09/2018 at midnight to find no one available the reception was locked none of the contact numbers working so we were left to sit in the car park in our car all night in the cold, when someone arrived in the morning they were very un sympathetic that we stayed in our own car and still charged us for the 4 nights even though 1 night was spent in our own car in a car park, we went 2 days without toilet paper in the room and ended up going to carefore super market to buy our own over all we found the whole experience after the first night absolutely terrible and would never recommend this hotel to anyone nor use luvre hotel group again

We have stayed in many Campanile’s across France and have always had very good stays. Campanile should be ashamed to have their name to this hotel. We were first given a smoking room despite having a toddler with us - this room was not particularly clean however due to the over powering smoke smell we were not in there long. The second room we were given was on the ground floor and full of brown flies - not normal flies or mosquitoes - I haven’t seen bugs like these before. They were on the bed - dead and alive. The towels were dirty, there was not mattress or bedding for the pull out bed and the door didn’t shut properly. When we went back to reception I was told “yes it’s a ground floor so there will be bugs”. We haven’t had bugs in any other Campanile ground floor rooms. After seeing two dirty rooms we didn’t have faith that a third would be any better so contacted the Kyriad down the road. As we had prepaid our rate they have refused to refund our 2 night booking. Customer service has been awful with the matter still not resolved 3 weeks later.

This is a motel and not a hotel. The room were cramped, stuffy and noisy. While the receptionist on our arrival was pleasant and helpful, a different receptionist in the morning was rude and shouted at me that my wife, my children and I couldn’t have the self service breakfast breakfast which was laid out beside reception. Apparently the breakfast was available until 10am but not if we arrived at 9.50am to serve ourselves. When I asked why not, her shouts became louder and more aggressive so we left. We will not be back.

This is a typical cheap motel room but unfortunately they forgot to soundproof the rooms! Noisy neighbours until 5.00am probably reflecting the standard of guests based on the low prices. Add this to the noise from the main road outside and sleep is at a premium. I have only given a poor rating instead of terrible because the location is ok within easy reach of restaurants and supermarkets and a 10 min walk to the bus stop for Disneyland helping to save on the ridiculous €20 parking fees.

My wife and I decided to go "up-market" from our usual choice of motel and stay at a Campanile for a change. And what a change it was! We have never had such a disturbed and sleepless night in our lives as the night we suffered here.We didn't get a single second of sleep. Some "lady" started playing boom-boom music at midnight and it went on without let-up until 06:30. I think this was to disguise the other "boom-boom" that was obviously going on. The biggest problem this kind of hotel has is the out-of-hours room booking service they all have, via the machine by the entrance, which facilitates being able to book and pay for a room at any time, especially when the reception is not manned and therefore there is no control whatsoever over who comes and goes during the night. Neither could there be any kind of security or night watchman patrolling the grounds on this night because the noise emanating from what I thought was room 14 next door but the receptionist said was room 19 on the floor above was so loud and impossible to ignore. If I knew at the time that the noise would continue all night I would've gone and slept in my car! I think the "lady" responsible should reimburse the money we paid for a very uncomfortable night after a long and tiring drive. This was totally unacceptable, selfish and disrespectful behaviour, which could have been taken care of and avoided at an early stage, had there been someone in authority available to control this sort of problem. This was a one-off for us. Never again!
