Visit this pub/restaurant regularly when walking in the area, have always found a friendly atmosphere with good selection of beers, wines and spirits. Have eaten here too and never been disappointed. Most recently had Sunday lunch here and each time the meal was excellent and reasonably priced. Didnt book in advance but they managed to fit us in, probably best...

I booked a table here for Sunday lunch with my parents, having been several times before with friends after a dog walk. I have always had a great experience here and we were not disappointed today. I mentioned to the lady on the phone when booking that we would have a dog with us and upon arrival, our table had...

We visited this pub a number of years ago and were keen to go back after a recent visit to the village. The staff are very welcoming and it is not forced, it is very genuine. They made a fuss of the dogs and nothing was too much trouble. Was told by a staff member that no locks were on...

Had a gorgeous Sunday lunch here after a walk around Mount Grace. The food was lovely and staff couldn't have been nicer. The chocolate brownie was amazing and worth coming just for that. Will definitely be back!

We booked a table at The Three Tons as we were staying overnight not too far away. We mentioned when we booked that I was Gluten Free and the lady said this wasn't a problem. They said it would be helpful if I had an idea of my choice of food so they could get Gluten free ingredients. Although, I...

This was our fourth visit and we were not disappointed. We booked for lunch and arrived earlier than planned. This was not a problem with the restaurant very quiet. My wife ordered the Middle Eastern Lamb (her favourite dish here) and I ordered a special of the day, Lamb ciabatta with chips & minted gravy (this should be on the...

Went in for Sunday lunch after a walk. Good selection of meals, fiancee decided on the Sea bass with truffle risotto rather than the roast beef. All very enjoyable and reasonably priced Ale was good and staff friendly.

Once again we called at this dog friendly pub for lunch after a walk round the reservoir and found it to be welcoming and fantastic food. Our third or fourth visit and will always come back. Friendly staff and excellent food.
