The Queen Catherine Hotel offers excellent value B & B. The rooms and facilities are spotlessly clean. The breakfasts were beautifully cooked. Their restaurant was comfortable, affordable and their chef talented. The locals are particularly friendly and spending time in the bar was an enjoyable experience. The landlord and his staff made our stay extremely pleasant. The Queen Catherine is...

Stayed overnight while walking the Coast to Coast route. Excellent value at £35 B&B for a single room and kicked some other establishments I stayed at well into the grass! Although I did not get a chance to sample a meal in the evening, the menu looked reasonably priced. Friendly locals in the bar when I stayed.

Great traditional pub set in a lovely tranquil park of North Yorkshire. There is always agreat atmosphere and the food has always been of a very high standard. A warm welcome is always received. What more could you wish for?

This is a wonderful traditional pub with the added bonus of excellent food and a very warm welcome. Good hand pulled ales from various breweries well served. The food is very good value for money served in a nice dining area and just what is needed after a great walk in this beautiful area.

Lovely inn set in wonderful countryside. Very relaxed atmosphere, made to feel welcome straight away. Used by local population as pleasant pub to while away the evening. It was busy when we came down from the room to eat, but were assured that we order in about 1/2 hour if that was OK by us we were more than happy...

We spent 2 nights here over Easter, very comfortable pub B&B accommodation, great breakfast and friendly staff. We also ate here one evening, the food was excellent, service was good and prices were reasonable. We visit Osmotherly regularly and we look forward to staying at the Queen Catherine again.

My partner and I decided to stop off here for food after a good walk around the reservoir at Osmotherly and we weren't disappointed. The staff were extremely friendly, the food all home cooked and the prices were extremely reasonable. This pub serves the biggest and best cheese board for a fiver and we certainly weren't robbed! We'll definitely go...

Had an early tea at the Queen Cath tonight and it was delicious. I had the parmo and my hubby had the hunters chicken. The portions were generous, service pleasant and all at at a very reasonable price. We'll be back.

A traditional pub hotel centrally placed in a beautiful village, ideal for walkers and outdoorsy types. The staff were extremely welcome and friendly, as was the atmosphere in the pub of an evening. The food was good basic pub fare, and the room was comfortable and well-furnished, if a little poky. The only potential problem is the noise from the...
