Very nice especially after 24 miles of hiking. Very accommodating. Brought your bags to your room. Very nice room. Lots going on in pub. Pub was kind of loud. Church bells were charming next to our rooms. I was so tired I didn't eat any food though.

We arrived for a Saturday night stay prior to undertaking the Lyke Wake Walk the following day. Explained to the young man on arrival that we would be leaving early before breakfast and he advised that cereals etc would be left out in the bar for us. We ordered 4 meals, 3 of which came with potatoes and vegetables. The...

It's a nice B&B in Osmotherley. The price to stay one night is very affordable. The owner is very friendly! I enjoyed talk with him while having my breakfast and a pint of beer after finishing a running race. Regarding the room, there is a shower room next to a bed room and no need to bring body soup. If...

Very nice country pub with good quality food . Friendly owners and a very nice invorment inside besides the log fire , perfect for a fuel stop before a long work in the moors . Food takes time to come ! as is indicated in the menu as all the food is cooked from fresh , but the wait is...

Situated in the lovely village of Osmotherly on the West side of the North York moors. Ideal location for a walking holiday. Stayed there with three friends for three nights. Shared a twin bedroom which was ok, but small and had very little storage space. Staff were friendly and the full English breakfast was very good. I echo some of...

Stayed here three nights on a walking trip. This is the only 'proper' pub in Osmotherly. The other two are very nice restaurants with fairly small bars. The bedrooms are a bit dilapidated but everything works, and they are well cleaned with decent linen

I cannot agree with most reviewers for the room we were allotted would have stayed vacant if it hadn't been prepaid. The building is old (>300 years) so plumbing was an afterthought. The sink is bolted to the wall in the bed area, there is no room for our luggage and only a tiny excuse for a closet forcing us...

We stayed just one night ( wish it could have been longer) everything was great. To be honest I really wasn't expecting much for £70.00 for a double room , I was very surprised! A lovely clean room for us and our dog , crisp white bedding , exceptionally comfortable bed. First class dinner and a genuine friendly welcome from...

We were a group and the other rooms were small, but fine. Room 4 has some problems in the bathroom and ceiling. The food is excellent and the locals hang out in the pub so it has a nice atmosphere. The rooms are over the bar so if you go to bed early it can be noisy.

I stayed here earlier this month with a friend whilst doing the Cleveland Way. I'm afraid the hotel was a bit of a write-off as far as I was concered because we were stuck in a pokey twin room where there was scarcely any space to put our stuff; the shower and loo were cramped; my very narrow bed gave...
