Our room was set off down the hill and did not have river views as advertised. Room was basic but adequate, although it had no towels when we arrived (management did bring some down for us). Not the most comfortable place I've stayed. Very few dinner options in the area - had to eat at a hot dog stand down... More

Beware of booking this motel online. Their site claims no charge booking yet when I called to cancel when we had to abort our golf trip when one of our group had a death in the family the response was "to bad but you will still be billed and I was" The golf courses, much more upscale than this place... Customer booked through booking.com and the cancellation policy is - no fee when cancelled 48 hours before arrival. It is written on the confirmation email and on the website from booking.com. Customer called our office at the arrival date at 5pm. Also customer booked 2 rooms for $ 69.-, yes right the golf course offers much more upscale, but you... More

First of all it was like a trailer home. We made a reservation here because in this area and this time of year everything else was booked. I booked 2 rooms for our family and gave him our credit card number to guaranty the rooms. When we arrived at 8:00 the night of our reservations I walk up to check... More

Margaree Forks is a small village on the Cabot trail with limited accommodations. Our room was clean, dated but they had just changed out the beds - so they were very comfortable. Check in process was a little slow, and we had to wait several hours before we could get into our rooms because of the new beds.

Booked this motel online. They upgraded us to a room with a kitchenette at no extra charge. Room was clean but beds uncomfortable. Nice view of the mountains but unable to see a river near by. Would stay here again but would recommend bringing food, coffee etc. Closest restaurant is 10 - 15 mins away.

We arrived just before dark and am glad we did as it was a little hard to find. Like everyone said, the rooms were dated but clean. I found the bed was very hard but we were tired from a long day of travelling so slept OK. You won't get a luxury room....but we didn't pay a luxury price either!

Double room was large enough with fridge, coffee maker, two matching chairs, flat screen TV, small clothes rod with hangers, fan, and small end tables. It is not brand new, but you are not paying 'brand-new' prices either. The carpeting, tile and blinds appeared new. The facility has several buildings, so the rooms are spread out, and all are on... Great location... The room was old and outdated but very clean, we could feel the springs of the mattress on the beds which were also obviously outdated as well and awoke in the morning with sore backs. However the price was very reasonable... Like they say you get what you pay for!
