Close to Glendalough and plenty of walking trails. Located on the main street of Rathdrum, it offers beautifully finished rooms in the heart of the town. You couldn't really get a nicer B&B, close to a nice restaurant and pub and with beautiful rooms and lovely friendly owners, you'd be mad not to try it.

Lovely b&b, more like a boutique hotel. Nicer than some hotels I've stayed in. Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, nice shower and beautifully decorated. Very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend to others and would stay again.

Loved everything about our stay in Stirabout Lane. Bedroom was beautifully decorated and could've been a boutique hotel with a lovely soft bed and good sized bathroom kitted out with Baylis & Harding toiletries. Daphne our host was fantastic, organising a table in a local restaurant, providing recommendations on bars to visit that night and going above and beyond the...

This was the second time we visited this B&B - Welcomed very warmly by Daphne, we were excited to hear she remembered the room we stayed in last time and had placed us in the same stunning room. The bed was super comfortable, soft and relaxing, the bathroom was well equipped with lovely hand cream and body lotion. The shower...

We stayed the last night of the Wicklow Mountain walk here as it was close to Glenmalure where we walked from Glendalough. The B&B owner was very happy to pick us up from Glenmalure lodge and drive us to Stirabout Lane. We were met by his lovely wife who made us fell quite at home. The room was very comfortable...

This is a family run B&B showing Irish hospitality at its best. The house has been restored to impeccable standards of quality. Best of all is a sitting room where a great fire is lit every evening for guests to read and relax on comfortable sofas and armchairs. We were made to feel comfortable and welcome at all times and...

Kudos to Daphne for all her hard work in making this such a fine BnB. Room at the back was very cosy and quiet. Breakfast was better than what you'd find elsewhere. Beautiful guest room and garden to sit in. Very relaxing and peaceful place.

What a lovely B and B. Stayed for one night on our tour of Ireland. The owner, Daphne, was lovely and offered great advice on where to eat and the best places to visit in the area. Breakfast was excellent - freshly cooked to order. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated and the bed, very, very comfortable. Couldn't fault...

Of the places (B&Bs) we stayed at during our tour of Ireland, this was one of the best. The attention to detail, decorating, cooked-to-order, full Irish breakfast in the morning and our host's friendliness all made it a wonderful experience. Parking on the "street" can be a challenge.

The best sign of a great place is the fact that it becomes a 'must' for my next stay. Therefore, while only staying for a short time, Stirabout Lane B&B has become my only choice for lodging in Wicklow. This was going to be the first stop for my sister-in-law, both for lodging and exploring, and I knew the best...
