We were working nearby ... just needed two beds for the night. What a lovely surprise .... I'd come back here for a weekend break ! Gorgeous room, quality linen, hot water bottle .... There is a lounge downstairs for guests to use. We were gone too early for breakfast - but I bet it would have been fab !

Lovely B&B very comfortable and adorable. We had to book a room last minute as our pre booked B&B had to close unexpectedly due to Covid. Daphne went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful. Spacious room, and wonderful private garden to enjoy.
Stunning residence Daphne was most welcoming and gave some great advice about the area and things to do. Room was very clean and up-to-date furnishings highly recommended. Off street parking was handy would definitely stay again should we find ourselves this way
Daphne at Stirabout was so wonderful! My friend was seriously injured and she helped us get AE help and took such good care of us for the short time we were able to be there. It was so fortunate we had booked with Stirabout, they took care of us like family.
A return to Stirabout Lane was everything that I remembered. A friendly welcome, a great room and a very comfortable atmosphere. And … the breakfast provides a great selection. Stirabout Lane has become my base when in Ireland. And, I can’t wait to return!

This was our first visit to Rathdrum with our son and daughter-in-law. Daphne made our stay memorable. She offered great suggestions of what to do on our visit. Each room had a different theme and were decorated beautifully. Beds were amazing. All of us slept well. Breakfast was brilliant. We will be back. Thank you.
A group of us headed to Wicklow for a walking long weekend at the end of November , sorting our accommodation independently. 4 of us opted to stay in Stirabout Lane and what a great decision that was. From we arrived, we were made feel right at home by Daphne. Stirabout Lane is beautiful accommodation - spotless, homely, quirky. The rooms were lovely. The breakfasts were amazing. Daphne could not have been anymore helpful advising On where to eat & organising taxis for us when we were meeting our friends for dinner in Laragh. We ate in Glenmalure Lodge after climbing Lugnaquilla. What a fabulous friendly pub with great food. And had the best nights craic & food in Bates restaurant in Rathdrum with live music & a roaring fire. Both places deserve a return visit. And on those cold winters nights, going back afterwards to sit by the welcoming fire in the sitting room at Stirabout Lane, beautifully decorated for Christmas was a joy. Loved our stay. Stirabout Lane is a gem…
