Rooms were clean and cozy. Not fancy, but I was just looking for a warm shower, a hot meal, and a bed. We loved arriving and departing on foot for the Wicklow Way. Perfect and nestled in a valley rich in history. Restaurant was fine. Had the soup and salmon. The Bailey's cheesecake was super.

A group of 25 of us planned our first hike of the New Year 2017. We stayed at the Glenmalure lodge and booked a meal for the group upon our return. Food was excellent, Staff very friendly, entertainment was great. Breakfast next morning was also very pleasant. it also caters for packed lunches for your hike.

Went up recently with a group of friends for a meal, live locally. Found that the menu was very limited, didn't offer much value, and had vary little variety. I ended up going for lasagne. It was served in a half filled bowl and more than half of what was in it was cheese (and peppers for some reason) so...

Great fun in Glenmalure for Halloween with Frankenstein's Bride, Mother Superior, Batman (and that was the staff). We did a 3 hour walk followed by dinner menu in Glenmalure. Food is always fresh and hot. Great apple pie. Staff always friendly and today they donated their tips to a local charity - well done guys and girls. A good experience...
