We had booked one night at this small hotel, but ended up staying four nights. The room is very basic, and not especially charming. But the super friendly staff, the nice breakfast room and breakfast with excellent coffee, and the close proximity to the beach made up for that. We had such a relaxed time, with good tips for trips from reception, and could even borrow a bike for a trip to downtown Marina di Massa (but it’s only 1km, so easy enough ti walk).

My son booked a room at Hotel Vera for May 2nd. I became very ill on May 1st and ended up in the hospital for three days. My son called from the hospital on the evening of the 2nd, explaining that I was fighting for my life and he didn't want to leave me alone there in the hospital. They refused to refund him. Our National Mountain Running team had a best quality accomodation for a whole time we stayed.We felt as at home-sweet home whole time: comfortable rooms,very delicious and hearty meals in restaurant,friendly and hospitality staffs.Greatest thanks to Silvano!As an owner he did lot for us!We'll be very happy to see him again!

We stayed for a month during summer 2013. This place is very clean and comfortable. Walking to the beach is clearly a major plus. The owner and staff are warm and very helpful. It felt as if we were part of the family. Great food. And hard to beat the price. The only negative we found was due to being there during a heat wave and the lack of AC was noticeable; however, they supplied us with fans and helped as much as possible in an unusual weather situation.
