This is an amazing resort, from the day you arrive to the day you leave the staff treat you exceptionally well. Big Thank you to the butlers that go above and beyond the call of duty. The resort is close to the airport so it was short ride to and from. Check out TCJ Tours, if you want to arrange your own transfers really great service. Rooms are clean, great decor, fresh linen and towels. Grounds is well cared for and cleaned daily. Pools and beach all enjoyable, plenty of chairs and shade. Pool service top notch not to mention their drink mixes perfect. Food was great all around favorites being the asian and french restaurants. For tours booking the catamaran that goes to the Dunns river falls was alot of fun and well worth it, booked through the same company. Afterwards having the best jerk lunch at a local jerk restaurant hit the spot. Overall amazing time, this resort is beautiful and I recommend others coming here.…
Loved this resort. The people there are amazing, the activities, food, drinks, and adult pool activities were amazing. The availability of lounge chairs on the beach and around the pool was plentiful. I was the best place to go if your looking for relaxation and being catered to.
Frist time in Jamaica, didn't know what to expect. From getting picked up at airport to getting dropped off. The staff was amazing, very knowledgeable and almost over friendly if that could be possible. The food was top notch!!! The Jerk shack and Italian restaurant top 2..the restaurant that was ocean side had good food also!!! The staff is second to none... Lagoons swim up bar, was the spot!!! Arlondo was tremendous!!
My husband and I were here for our honeymoon. We are already planning our return for our 1 year anniversary. Our stay from the welcome greeting to the exit treating exceeded our expectations. We can not stop talking about how good all the different choices of food were and the 8 different locations we had to chose from for our meals. The staff was the best.
I must say the standards of this property have stood the test of time, the pandemic and a pending storm and came out stronger for it, being in a hotel or on holiday and facing the unknown of an impending storms arrival is every travelers nightmare however this hotel’s response was 1st class there were updates on the Television, letters distributed to the rooms and the staff were all informed and ready to give updates it made the experience very well, because it showed that the hotel had their clients safety concerns in mind. As a foodie I do not dine at buffets and the ala carte restaurants were 5 star experiences my group dined at the French and Italian and both experiences were top notch, food quality and service was excellent!! You must have the lamb in the Italian it melted in my mouth!!!! I was most impressed by the service of a lady at the front desk in Zilara (Shianne I think, she wore a white top ) I tried to make dinner reservations prior to the set time as I was leaving the property for business and she offered to call which she did and followed up ensured that we were set very impressed!!! The team in breakfast are 1st class! to be greeted by your name every time you visit is a win, you must try the Steak and Eggs Ala carte for breakfast is classy the buffet spread is great as well. Overall this property is value for your money and you won’t regret your purchase! Go check them out for yourself I must mention my room and sleep quality. This has to be one of the best beds I’ve ever slept in!! And I’ve slept in MANY hotel beds. The quality & Cleanliness of the linen and comfort of the bed is excellent! Very clean room and furnishings. Keep your standards high Zilara I will definitely be back.…
The Hyatt Zilara met our expectations and more. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating and Patrice at the International Restaurant, Dominique at Concierge and Sean on our extended booking all went above and beyond for us.
Has a fantastic time here in April 2022! The resort was excellent! Very clean, excellent customer service, well maintained, friendly staff, very tasty food! The resort is gated and vehicles going in and out have to check in with security before the gates open. This was a piece of mind for us. Security was always around on the resort as well. I was welcomed with a tasty welcome drink. It was so good and tropical! Check in was easy and Covid 19 tests were offered to go back home, along with a Covid 19 insurance option, which we decided to take just in case (stay at the resort to quarantine if needed without an extra charge). At the time of the trip in April 2022, all staff were wearing masks and social distancing was still implemented. Check out was also a breeze and we had no issues going back to the airport. The weather was great as well (high 80s, low 90s / high 20C and low 30C), it rained once in the evening around 7pm for less than 2 hours. It was a bit windy during the day which made for some waves in the ocean (kayaking was cancelled for many days) unfortunately. Loved the wave breakers though, they greatly helped! One thing that people were not a fan of in the adult only section was the amount of rocks getting in and out of the ocean. It was quite difficult and many people fell down, including myself. However, this also made for hilarious entertainment especially for those who had a few too many pina coladas! A recommendation to the resort would be to remove those rocks/pebbles/shells if possible. Water was clean and very little seaweed. I decided to explore the kid’s beach after 4pm (just a few kids left) and the water was calm and shallow and they had the best shells (I collect them), and lots of small fish! They had nice soft sand and no rocks. The swimming area was completely enclosed by wave breakers so this is a great spot for small kids. The resort had several restaurants, the Italian was surprisingly authentic amazing Italian (I’ve been to Italy), the buffet was nice, the French was fancy and the seafood restaurant was great (lobster costs extra $$)! The breakfast restaurants were all really good (try the mango smoothie!!) and the ice cream shop was wonderful! My go to for beach service was the jerk chicken quesadillas (sooo good! Not very spicy!) and the drinks were fantastic as well (they did not go cheap with the alcohol for an all inclusive!) There was nothing I didn’t like… and I ate quite a lot on this trip! Make sure to book reservations for each night the day you arrive, places fill up! Room service does take 1-2 hours during peak times, so heads up about that. The beach cabanas cost $200 USD a day to rent. The beaches could use a few more trees or shaded areas. Stock up in sunscreen and aloe before you go (read below). The shops have a nice variety of souvenirs. However. BEWARE that necessities and toiletries are VERY expensive. I purchased one bottle of aloe for $35 USD (desperate times), so make sure you bring everything you need. Rooms were very clean, beds were comfy, and the hotel was quiet. A wedding on the beach wrapped up by 11pm, so they are respectful of night time noise. There is also a really nice “Jamaica” sign for pictures, as well as a very tall Bob Marley statue. There are also many activities each night and employees go around during the day on the beaches letting everyone know what will be happening and providing a schedule. Tons of kids activities as well! There are a few wild cats here and there (I saw 3 in total), but they are very friendly. No bugs at all in the month of April. For those wondering, water is drinkable. Never had any stomach issues either. Wifi can be very slow at times especially during peak times. I have such an amazing time and I HIGHLY recommend this resort! Thank you for a great vacation!!…
My husband and I LOVED our stay at Zilara Rose Hall! We had a first floor room with a swim up porch. It was a fantastic place to relax and listen to the water. Our room was always very clean and mopped daily. The beach was very clean and maintained. The restaurants were always prepared and the staff was SO friendly! We would absolutely return to this resort! We loved beautiful Jamaica!
We had an amazing time. The evening entertainment was amazing! We spent time at the pool and the beach and it was so nice. The food was so-so, but still so good. The beach is smaller than I thought, but still amazing!
My favourite all inclusive despite the beach. Best food and top notch service more than make up for it as do the great pools. The new chef in the Asian restaurant is awesome and the French restaurant is consistently great. Loved the southern Indian street food; puri and chat station in the main buffet. Different and delicious
