I have stayed at Les Hautes Loignieres a number of times recently. In fact I know the location well, I first stayed in the house in 2006 when it was named 'Sheep and Sleep' under its former owners. Now the property of David and Alison Seymour-Jones, and re-named Les Hautes Loignieres, it offers a very nice place to stay. The...

Lovely place to stay. I stay there with my brother just for a overnight stay breaking up the journey south.Could not fault David and Alison's hospitality, nothing seemed too much trouble for them.In fact Alison kindly offered to drive us into Pre-En-pail for dinner what could be kinder. Will use this B&B again next time I ned a stay over

Mayenne is the vast and empty countryside and somewhere in the middle of it, this English couple restored a country house to accommodate a few guests. The place and rooms are basic but clean, there is a nice view from the breakfast room... if you happen to pass from east to west, or from north to south, les Hautes Loignières...

We stayed for two nights while enjoying a bank holiday weekend in this part of France. We hired the self catering part of the accomodation on offer, and hope to return in the future. The cottage is really spacious and well equipped, with loads of character. We were sat outside in the sunshine during the early evening, then when it...

A friendly and relaxed welcome, a homely meal and a comfortable bed made for a pleasant stay. Very reasonable rates for the room and meal. A curious omission in our otherwise well appointed room, was a lack of curtains or blinds - at the time of year we stayed, early morning sun didn't wake us luckily, nor were there any...

The guest house is in a quiet lane, a mile or two from Pre en Pail. The English hosts have created a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. They made me feel almost like a family friend. Other guests from Holland and Turkey helped prepare and share an impromptu evening meal with Alison and David who also provided wine. Guests' children picked...

The owners are really friendly and welcoming. I Have had a really good stay and will stay here again. The rooms are clean with the most comfortable bed. Breakfast is continental, with fresh home made bread and croissants

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We are a small family run Chambres D'hotes just outside the little market town of Pre-En-Pail, just over the border from Normandy into the Loire. We have 3 rentable rooms at the moment and a little two bedroom cottage. We pride ourselves on our warm welcome and hospitality, our simple but comfortable furnishings, and a hearty breakfast with fresh homemade bread and jams. There is always plenty to do in the area, from the Normandy Beaches 1.5 hours to the north and Le Mans and the racing 1.5 hours to the south. We look forward to welcoming you to Les Hautes Loignieres, and very much hope you enjoy your stay with us. ... more   less
