We had not booked our overnight accommodation while passing through the region. We had a 'standard' room which did not have the veiw of the river, but the ground floor room was spacious and comfortable, as well as being very blue (walls and bed covering!)....More

Stay here with a cycling group whilst they had a sculpture exhibition in the garden. huge rooms, very strange coloured decor, but good staff. Evening meal excellent. A good stop stop in a historic 17th & 19th century house
