Absolutely loved our recent stay at Ionian Hill Hotel. From check in to check out our stay was easy, peaceful and clean. Parking is located at the top (quite a steep drive up and sharp corner). The lobby, grounds and rooms are spotless. The lady at breakfast and lunch was absolutely lovely. She seemed to really enjoy interacting with everyone and went above and beyond to ensure everyone was looked after. The only problem we found were the wasps whenever you wanted to eat by the restaurant they would appear instantly. I'm not sure if this was due to the time of year but there were alot of them! We had a room on the ground floor by the pool (room 5) it was lovely. We did feel like more cupboard clothes space would have been useful as we stayed for 10 nights and you could hear water when people above were using their bathrooms. The air conditioning worked perfectly however the power stopped when you took your key out so don't leave anything in the fridge that could go off! The pool is not heated bur after a few moments you get used to the temperature. It's a very deep pool but always clean with the best view. Plenty of sunbeds. Would Absolutely stay here again if visiting zakynthos. A beautiful island but you definitely need a car!

What a little jem, fantastic staff, all happy, smiley and and want to make your holiday the best it can be. I was travelling on my own, had a very comfy room with double bed overlooking the pool and the most fantastic view of the bay. The pool area is immaculate with enough sun beds. You can walk into agassi however i used taxi and it cost 8 euros. I also went to Banana beach via taxi that cost 20 euros. On the beach you can pay varying amounts for beds - I paid 10 euros which included 2 beds and a brolly. I also arranged with hotel in advance to get collected via taxi and that cost 24 euros - one way. I highly recommend the restaurant - I had breakfast every day - which was delicious hot and cold food - i had lunch a few days and evening meal twice and the service was excellent as well as the food. This place is excellent and I will be back. Small as 28 rooms but very friendly excellent base for travelling around the island

We stayed as a family of 4, my husband and me plus our son and his partner. We had two rooms on the ground floor with direct access to the pool. The rooms were a decent size and the air conditioning worked very well. We had a small terrace but didn’t really need it as we were only a few meters from the pool and the sun loungers. The view is amazing looking out over the bay and towards Zakinthos town. There is a small restaurant where you have breakfast next to the pool and it also serves light lunches and drinks. At night it turns into a more high end restaurant. We did eat there once at night as it is quite expensive but the food was lovely and the service is fantastic All the staff are lovely. Really friendly and efficient. Nothing is too much trouble. I would definitely go back - we had a wonderful two week stay

We visited by the end of September between the 28th and the 2nd, and our stay was quite pleasant. The Hotel has an amazing view of the bay, and it was quiet enough to rest properly. Execellent breakfast selection, and the pool was not crowded. We were greeted by Yiota, who was very professional and personable. Angeleta at the restaurant was also very professional and kind. Overall everyone was welcoming and going the extra mile to please every guest. Although the hotel facilities were reasonable and comfortable, what would make us go back are the attentive and friendly Angeleta and Yiota. Make sure you take care of them. Extra tip for future guests: If you are looking for a restaurant close to the hotel, try the "Come to the Grill" down the road towards Argassi. It is a family restaurant, serving traditional and tasty food. They will make you feel at home, and the prices ridiculously low. I loved the Pork Gyros! Thanks, I & I

Absolutely amazing hotel. The staff are brilliant, friendly and hospitable. Incredible view and comfortable rooms. Perfectly located quietly away from the centre of Agassi but only a short walk to town. This is our second stay and we will be returning next year.

Having read some of the reviews where the hotel has been given a low rating, I’m at a loss to understand why. We stayed for a week in order to attend a wedding in nearby Argassi and the hotel met our needs distance wise. This is a small but lovely, well run hotel, the rooms are clean and well presented, the only issue I had was a lack of drawer space (although there was plenty of cupboard space). The a/c works as it should and the shower is great, The staff are professional and helpful, the dining staff are friendly and make you feel welcome. All in I really couldn’t find much to complain about other than the walk we did daily into town (our choice taxis are available). So as I said in the title we’ll definitely be back.

The staff was exceptional, highly professional and kind. They were helpful about any kind of questions or possible situations. Nothing was to much for them. The hotel itself is beautiful. It has everything you could need and more. The breakfast was a great start to a day of exploring the island. The pool was super nice so you can drink your coffee next to it or read a book. The room was taking care of every day, so everything was nice and clean every afternoon. They even help out with renting a vehicle that gets dropped to the hotel. If you are visiting Zakynthos definitely choose Ionian Hill, they will not disappoint.
