Although I've never stayed overnight at their rooms, my friends and I are regulars at Baki Cafe. It's a small dive resort with a pool and restaurant. It's located at the end of a narrow and rocky road, but the trip is always worth it. Parking is a bit limited though. There are several signs that help point out the location of the resort. Don't be fooled by the small place - their cafe serves some of the best food in the area, with plenty of options for vegetarians/vegans and meat-eaters. My personal favorite is their Tofu and Chickpea Shawarma with handcut fries (vegan), which is loaded with (slightly) sweet and savory plant proteins and fresh vegetables. Their vegan burrito is also good. They put their own twist on it by using basil-flavored rice, using herbs they grow themselves. Their hummus trio is also delicious and interesting, and includes hot and spicy and basil flavors. My non-vegetarian friends like the Filet Mignon (perfectly cooked medium rare) , Grilled Fish and Beef Burgers. I have yet to try their veggie and bean burgers but I've also heard good reviews about them. There are a couple of native huts with tables where you can enjoy your food, while looking out into the ocean. They also have a pool that can be accessed for a minimum order of food. I love the chill vibe of this place, and how the food is always well-seasoned and made with fresh ingredients. We will definitely keep coming back.

I had the best time ever when staying and diving at Baki Dive Resort. Amazing food and friendly staff, after a week you feel like you are one in the family. Dive guides are professional and good spotters. Diving is amazing with lots of rare critters, a macro photographers paradise. The casual atmosphere in the restaurant is familiar and gives you lots of new friends when sharing experience of what you saw on the surface over a beer.

I met Jeremy, the dive instructor/manager of Baki few month ago. I had my Advance open water with Baki and i found that all about that place was ridiculously good. The staff is super nice, Jeremy is a great instructor and the owners are treating everyone in their place as friends, which is lovely. Jeremy was one of the best activity instructor I've ever met. He made me feel safe and always anticipated all problematic situation in such a way that even though learning new skills, i remained in my confort zone. The house reef is awesome, so much life and corals are in really good condition I'll definitely dive again with Baki, as Jeremy is an awesome photographer and i'll need his tips to start getting into underwater photography.

I spent 9 days here over New Year. Absolutely loved it, and would highly recommend. I came with my 2 sons, who both are fairly new PADI open water divers, without a lot of experience. The instructors- Jeremy and Sonya - are really patient and took all 3 of us on a refresher dive to get our confidence back. After that, the diving was just amazing, with Marvin and Jeremy especially being superb dive guides. Dives are mainly direct shore dives with a range of reef and muck dives, but we also had a fantastic day across at Apo Island, where the marine life and coral is beautiful. The guesthouse is perfect- clean rooms, en-suites, backing onto a pool and then directly onto the beach. Adam and Sonya, who run the place, are so lovely. The food at the cafe is excellent, beers are cheap and staff so friendly. Would highly recommend this for divers of all experiences, and all ages! Definitely will be returning.
