Wuzhen is supposedly to be a living scenic town. Entry is by admission ticket and the entire place is quite organised. The guest house is a quaint restored hotel and quite comfortable as a 2 to 3 stars standard. The amenities are decent too. And you get to eat breakfast in a

My wife and I recently stayed 2 nights in a Guesthouse in the ancient water town of Wuzhen. This was a very unique experience. You check-in at the visitor center and then take a tram to your room as it is some distance from the visitor center. They bring the suitcases to your

I loved the Water Town. The way they preserved the history in the entire town was amazing.

The whole town was a total photo-op! My cousin took pictures from day to night. From tourists to professional photographers- everyone was taking pictures.

The guest house we stayed in

A lovely water town that has been modernised with all of today's trapping. The sad part is it is very commercialised, thus, the ancient world atmosphere is somewhat lost. Beautiful scenery.

We stayed in guest house number 18. Clean, comfortable, air conditioning and with Wi-Fi.

Hi, to stay inside Xizha, is it can only book through Wuzhen official site? Cannot book through others like agoda etc?
We booked at the site. The ones I see in agoda are all outside of the Water Town. Although when we were at the main reception, I saw some tourists booking on the same day for available guest houses or hotels.

Hi there, We are going to Wuzhen on April 7, 2017. Since we have two young children, I am concerned about arriving and not knowing if there will be a guest room available. Can you advise how early we should arrive to ensure we can get a room/rooms in the West scenic area? Also, how can we find out estimated pricing ahead of time so we can be prepared? Thanks so much, Kelli
I always book my hotel room in advance as I don't want to be stressed by having no place to stay or having to pay a higher walk in price. I booked the wuzhen guesthouse via trip advisor. So I would suggest you put a search for hotel for Wuzhen, China to find a hotel or guesthouse within your budget. Once you input the date of stay and number of pax, you can get the price of the hotel for your duration of stay. Do try to stay within the west scenic area as it is nice to wake up to empty streets in such a historical place.

We plan to visit Shanghai, Huangshan, Thousand Islets Lake, Hangzhou and Wuzhen. Is there any reliable china local travel agent that we can go for?
thanks, Kim775. We plan to stay one night in WGH on 29 Oct 2014. Are we able to get a same room like yours at US$70 by just turn up at the WGH on that day? Please advice and thanks.
I would recommend you to book in advance if you have thefixed schedule..you can choose room types as well. Last minute go show price is never been attractive in China.
